These intro threads are getting very tiresome. I think barman et al should ban anyone who starts an intro thread because it's just not funny anymore. I also don't understand why anyone should introduce themselves, it's not like we know you, so therefore don't care, ergo please fuck off.
Well maybe he just liked to fuck bags, hmmmmmmm? Wouldn't surprise me with all the terrible grammar flying around here.
I've mentioned before that half of these intro threads are probably started by bored senior members. They're trolling. I'm surprised so many folks fall for it.
Forget banning. That doesn't solve anything. Someone should write a script that auto-closes threads started by new people when their opening post includes...
- "I'm new"
- "introd"
- "newbie"
That way, true newbies get hit by -reps with attached comments saying, "follow the rules, no intros." Trolls will quickly learn that starting intro threads won't cure their boredom since the threads quickly descend into the bowels of the archives.
Ban "ContFlaps" today, he'll come back tomorrow with another ID. Maybe he'll be named "MommyRose".
