Ask them to email you your email. If that doesn't work, you can try forgetting that you forgot to begin with.

Thanks guys,

I tried calling the customer service number and had the guy tell me "I'm sorry, we do not provide phone support for users at this time. Please email info@facebook.com and we'll get back to you" ahha.

So I tried pressing "0" for the operator but apparently they don't have someone there at this hour :(

The account I use for ads is different from my regular account, so I had no friends, and it wasn't a public profile.

I've so learned my lesson about emails and passwords after this...

the office isnt very big, i used to live next door to it. Just try during regular hours, or if your in the area you can sneak past the 1 security guard, go on up and chat with people hah

You know, nothing is really working out for me when it comes to this stupid thing.

The facebook confirmation link, c.php, has the email address I registered with in it. I use FF, Opera and IE. I registered this account with IE, which deletes history after 20 days, so I no longer have the reference of that c.php confirmation link. If I'd registered with either of the other two browsers, they both keep my history longer and I would have been ok.

:(

I've got my account ID and my ads ID now though, so hopefully that will help me.

Do you have any system recoveries (i.e. those Windows does automatically) that you could roll back to?

I tried, and it didn't work at all. Restored to November 19th (3 weeks ago on IE was the 17th) and when I re-restored 3 weeks ago still started on the 17th. :(

A rep should be able to sort this out for you if you've got your account ID. PM me if you need hooking up.

I saw a security seminar that explained there are many companies out there charging $50 - $150 to hack web mails and things like facebook.

Prob is how can you trust these ppl although, some are considered very professional. Theres always a chance they might turn round and hack some of your other accs.

It was so scary I am actually going to change a load of things about the way I work!

Depends how much you need to get back in there.
