Actually, while we're on the topic....I went to a city council meeting (was dragged there by a friend really) and they were talking about how marijuana use was much higher in white neighborhoods than black ones. Percentage wise the figures were roughly equal, however blacks had 4-5X more arrests. Police were specifically targetting minorities. Now you may call this a coincidence or the result of an "aggresive culture" but I do not, especially when 90% of the cops here are white.

Why is your life in danger when walking through a black neighborhood but not when walking through a poor white neighborhood? Does that have something to do with police targeting blacks? Or is it something else?
