Immigration & Racial/Religious Tolerance

We even have areas where ambulances wont drive without an escort. Sweden must be one of the most politically correct and overall meek countries ever and I am not surprised that a lot of people take advantage of it. Not long ago we had a story that went like this.
Middle eastern man goes to job interview. Interviewer is a woman. Man refuses to shake hand with woman for being an infidel or whatever. He doesnt get the job and sues for religious intolerance. He wins a large sum of money....
UK? Are you kidding me? Not long ago a group of people requested Christmas name to be changed as it offending people of other religions.
I'm an immigrant myself. But I contribute to this country much more than I take. I'm not perfect but try to assimilate. But you will see a number of immigrants who treat UK as a whore. Funny thing is most of the hate goes to immigrants from Eastern Europe who probably are the best assimilated group with British citizens.

Canada, lol!
Canada is too tolerant. How many people have you ever heard say they're moving to Canada in order to further inflate the burden on our healthcare system?
Our kindness will be our downfall and tolerance just leads to silly issues like tomaszjot mentioned. I worked at a water-bottling plant years ago: An Amish guy was fired because because of cleanliness issues (didn't shower, brush teeth, etc.) Meanwhile an immigrant who stunk to high-heaven was never reprimanded because management didn't want to start any racial/religious issues.
That's just a small example of tolerance leading to conventional rules being thrown out the window (the amish guy gets sent packing because they likely wouldn't create an uprising, but it wasn't worth taking the chance with an immigrant due to the religious overtones.)
Abuse of our credit companies is another problem: Not being born in this country creates loop-holes for overseas immigrants as well: It's stupid how easy one can move in here, have more than one alias for racking up credit, with no intention of paying it back and run home a wealthier person -- leaving the patriots to pay the difference.

Well don't get me wrong here, no system is perfect. HOWEVER, an immigrant is assimilated better and is generally more accepted in countries like Canada/UK as opposed to countries like the US/France. Having spent quite some time in all these countries, I can confirm.
French immigrants do not feel French, even after being there 10 years and having citizenship and everything. They still feel like strangers and treated that way by society (for the most part), which is why the country still has so many racial problems today.

Why should they feel French? The problem is their kids should feel French as they've been born there. I don't feel British and probably will never feel. But my 3 years old daughter will be British because she's born here, will breath British air, eat British food and attend to British school. She can be fully happy only if she identifies with the country she's growing in. I can learn her my language, pass the tradition but she will think in English. If you isolate your kids from the county's culture than good luck, you making your kid a sad person.
Even if you don't feel French you can still accept and obey French law and society norms. You may be friendly and not isolate yourself from society, be open and know your value, try to contribute and I doubt you will not be accepted in French (or any other) society.

It didn't so we still have Christmas. Sad side of the story were purely British people saying "they are right, Christmas is offensive" etc. Political correctness made a pussies of some people, pussies so big they don't even feel when they are being fucked.
