I'm suddenly getting like a gazillion a day - methinks there's a new botnet in town.

What's pissing me off is that all the cheapo sites I have on shared hosts have SpamAssassin on them, and it is FUCKING USELESS at detecting and bouncing what are actually lame ass OBVIOUS spams.

Spamassassin = owned by botnet. Useless fucks.
 


I get it at my official email id and i work at a place where every email is scanned before reaching me. Boy, there bot really knows how to send this email right till my inbox, forget about my personal email. Its full of these kind of spammy emails.
 
what annoys me is that its such obvious spam, and spamassassin cant touch it. Pathetic. I mean, it may only be 1 line of text usually, but that one lin ewill have like 'penis' 'suck you off' and 'v1agr@ ' in it.

Spamassassin = garbage.

I actually miss the good old days where you'd just specify 'bounce' words. I'd just put in the spammy domain they are punting, never get another one pushing that particular domain.

Funny enough, I have a site running on an old host, uses exactly that. it's junking these spams easily, using that old techgnology.

Yeah...I recently got loads about enlarging my manhood.

There was even one titled along the lines of "Please sending me these f*cking emails". In the email he replies that I should stop sending him spam...underneath is a supposedly previous email with a enlarging penis spam link.

They are thinking of every possible way to get you to read and click the link.
 
For some reason, my work email is swamped with "fake replica watches" spam.

Every day when I get to work I generally have 160 or so msgs to download, 120 of which will be viagra and/or replica watch ads. The rest will be various other nonsensical emails, and maybe 2-3 that are actually semi important.
The other day I had to have a customer email me a screenshot of his computer. Barracuda wouldn't let it go through. We tried zipping it, throwing it in a doc file, everything we could think of. I finally had to have our network tech go and configure the filter to allow his email.
The next morning I was reminded of my embarassing manhood about 80 times.
 
Seems like its a botnet to me. They register a gazillion domains that basically just redirect to the real sales page. The domains may even be kites - dropped within th e7 days because they will have become worthless by then. Next, create a message too short to give the usual (free) spam filters anything to work on.

Fire, forget, repeat.

Another one here for tons of replica watch spam.

The penis enlargement emails always remind me of Carl from Aqua Teen Hunger Force: "I keep getting these emails and somehow they know that I'm small down there! Come on fry man, I mean I'm hung like a zoo animal but could you give me a little more length? Or girth? Or both, preferably both."
