After reading that I did just realize there is absolutely no mention of Proof, which is extremely odd. I guess I didn't think the production was as bad as they thought it was, but not Dre's best work either. There were rumors of having hundreds of tracks recorded for this.

Actually he did talk about proof, I think it was on Deja Vu he said something like 'I wouldn't be on these if it wasn't for DeShaun'.

Am I missing something here? Everyone seems to love this song :S Not a bad beat and a well made song but nothing special in the way of lyricism or flow, and I don't really want to listen to Slim talk about sucking cock and taking it up the ass for 4 minutes.

Em fell off 8 years ago and he definitely isn't coming back. I'll download the album and it will probably be better then Encore (I severely hope so) but I'm not expecting the old Eminem like everyone else is.

Yeah, I think it happens to every rapper who meets success. They lose the hunger they had when they were truly struggling; they lose that intensity and it affects everything. What's left to write about for Em? He's a multimillionaire, there's no more poverty, no more struggles in life. Some rappers know how to combat it, though; Jay-Z still writes great songs even though he's set for life. He's learned how to freeze that mentality and write songs that transcend money and communicate a lifestyle instead.

All that's left now for Em is to explore the depths of his drug-induced insanity and attempt to shock people even more. Hence, songs about giving head to his Dad and gay sex. It's kind of sad, but predictable as well.

I just listened to the whole album and honestly I don't think it was nearly as good as MMLP, SSLP or Eminem Show. Thankfully, it was a lot better than Encore though.

Just listened to the full album, and Encore was better than that garbage.

It's funny how they do those skits almost every album with guy always saying the album sucks - looks like he's finally right!

Agree 100%, there aren't any break out songs like there are on every other album, it really feels like more of the same through the whole thing.

Am I the only one that thinks the best parts of the album are where Dre and 50 cent are raping? Sad.
