Greetings all,

What's the best way to deal with international shipping?
What solutions are there, and how does one minimize costs for ones customers?

I am about to launch my first webshop here that will be retailing items
from a lot of different suppliers from all over the world.

Do you have a warehouse, or are you planning on drop shipping?

UPS, FedEx, and USPS have APIs that you can use to calculate shipping with.

Is that what your question is about?
 
I will be drop shipping.

No I'm more curious what shipping services / methods I ought to use to minimize costs for my customers.

Let's say I have a drop shipper from Egypt and a customer from Sweden. How would that work?

I guess people know very little about this subject as most retailing / shipping is limited to the Western world.
 
Go to alibaba.com and look up shipping terms. Are you going to do blind or regular drop shipping? Dhl has great international services, as does fedex. Check them out or just call them up and they can give you a list of the options
