Internment Camps here we come!

For a minute I thought Lukep was back after reading that thread title.

Honestly though, what would the government get out of pissing off the population and throwing the country into a civil war? They already get what they want. The population is getting dumber. The next best thing they could hope for is total mind control over everyone.

These camps are probably a real thing, but I see it as the governments way of prepping for something bad like an outbreak of some big disease that could wipe out huge populations unless its controlled. It's getting to that point where any country in the world has the technology to create fucked up shit in labs. All it would take is one guy hopping on a plane with a vial in his pocket, landing in america and infecting as many
people as possible.

Now if you're america what can you do to fight that? Not much. Best case scenario is you close off large areas and try to contain it. The shit everyone should be afraid of isn't guns, bombs, or nukes. It's germ warfare. All it would take is one person to take out an entire city like NY (look at the shit that went on in Haiti).

To me it just doesn't make any sense for them to intentionally throw the strongest, richest and most controlled? country into disarray over stupid shit. They are prepping for something, but the real question is what... and if they didn't prep for some kind of major catastrophe, wouldn't that make them stupid?

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Maybe someone can explain why the government would want to fuck over its own country, kill a bunch of people, and turn it into north korea 2.0. Maybe someone can point to a point in history where the strongest nation on earth fucked itself over on purpose and came out better for doing it.

It is the first time in US history where an enemy of the USA is actually the president, non native born and a muslim.

2) Rationalize some other explanation...

"It's for the CDC's Disease Control"​

3) Justify apathy and inactivity...

"Damned if you do, damned if you don't."​

4) Further show ignorance of the past...

Yes, every top civilization has over-extended itself through imperial means, began to crumble from the inside, and somehow turned it on it's own people in an attempt to maintain control.​

5) Go back to #1 and repeat...

This is just false...

The only way the government would want todo any of this horse shit to its own citizens is if there is a group of people who want control of the government (some sort of shadow organization), the people responsible for morons like zaino.

These types of posts are the epitome of sheeple living in fear.

"National Security" = "security of government officials and the police state." They could give a shit about everyone else. Look at it from that angle now and then, and a bunch of seeminly stupid moves make more sense.
 
There are people who sit in rooms and think up the most imaginative disaster scenarios they can. Then they write it up and submit it to a govt agency and get paid for it. The same govt agency then gives it to another group who are supposed to come up with a response plan. These things usually end up in a box in a warehouse somewhere, or on a public file server, but occasionally, someone like Alex Jones gets a copy and it ends up all over the internet.


One thing for sure though, these FEMA camps will have wifis.

Can you explain to me exactly how the Japanese Americans were preparing to take over the government in the 1940's when FDR had them all rounded up and put in internment camps?

I doubt they actively want this, but they may not have a choice either. For example, sometime in the future the US defaults on its debt, economy goes to shit, things like unemployment, inflation, and crime increase greatly, while there's large cuts to both, essential and non-essential public services.

The above scenario is quite realistic, as the US can't continue down its current path, and the writing is on the wall. Now factor in there's over 150 million privately owned firearms in the US as well. Plus public sentiment is far from great now, let alone what it will be if the above scenario plays out.

Then you start seeing civil disobedience and demonstrations, some of which turn into riots. The police then get called out, and round everyone up. Since some riots have the potential of scaling quite large, plus happening in many locations around the US, and since the US is broke, there simply won't be enough resources to put everyone through the standard criminal justice system. So they won't have a choice, but to shove them into an internment camp.

The dynamics of the US were much different back around WWII times. Even before Pearl Harbor, average American views toward the Japanese weren't very comparable to anything today.

Just look at how controversial Guantanomo Bay is, and then consider that those are a few hundred foreign born prisoners said to be suspected of being terrorists. Imagine how much more controversial it would be if instead the prisoners were US citizens from the Tea Party, Occupy Wall Street, or whatever.

Homosexuals, Muslims, and atheists are three groups that are currently somewhat looked down upon in the US, according to polls, but overall they are still more integrated and accepted than the Japanese and others used to be.

Some people believe Dick Cheney to be a member of the Illuminati or whatever. Well, his daughter is lesbian, he has Muslim "friends" from the oil industry (some who might live and work in the US), and I'm sure he has had a few atheist acquaintances.

If we looked closely at Obama and congress, we would find many similar and closer connections such as these to a diverse range of groups. It wasn't like this with FDR and congress in relation to Japanese Americans.
