Is It Me Or Do Affiliate Networks Employees Change Titles Every Month?

It seems like every other week I get an email from someone at an affiliate network explaining how they're moving to another department and getting a new title, so I now have so and so as my new point of contact at their company. I've even gotten an email like that from someone and then within the same week got another email explaining how they're NOT my point of contact anymore and going over to another department.

Why are people within affiliate network companies switching roles so often? I'm not sure if its a good sign (more affiliate demand for their network, more positions to open and fill) or a bad sign (less affiliate demand for their network and people are quitting and taking over multiple positions).

Anyone else notice this? It's mainly more on the advertisers side.
 


I get the feeling it's that a lot of affiliate nets churn through employees nearly as fast as telemarketing ones do.
I've only been working FOR AffCash for a few months now, and there have been 4 guys come and go since I got here.
In the meantime, NOT being an incompetent smacktard has already boosted me from a part time AM to an actual management position (as in actual management, not accounts, although I still do that), although I am thinking of leaving to work more on events promotion, because that is shit I really love, and AM was always just a "for the money to get by" thing for me. Also, senior positions look nice on a resume and LinkedIn.

Honestly, it's not exactly enjoyable work as an accounts manager, as you're stuck between a rock and a hard place a lot of the time.
 
Maybe it's like the movie Casino, where Robert DeNiro couldn't get a license to work in a casino, so he just kept switching job titles so his "pending application" would get moved to the bottom of the stack.
