Is it time to try Firefox again?

The new version runs great on my older laptop. It's great to have all my plugins again. Like others have said though, might be hard to give up on chrome after so long. Going to be using it for development for the next week and see how it goes.

I've been using the new version for some days now and it's proving to be much better and not anally raping my RAM as much. Still up there but then that's probably just because gay black bukake is, let's just say, resource 'hungry' ;)

I never left Firefox. Have you no loyalty?

Loyalty? I have been using firefox since before they even called it firefox. Netscape was the first browser I ever used. I used it for at least 15 years before they forced me to switch to chrome. It was a disaster and thanks to WF, I was introduced me to my first browser mistress (chrome).

This loyalty is the whole reason for posting this thread. That and anything that google doesnt control, has to be a good thing.

was watching porn someday mom came in room suddenly
it took 4-5 secs to close the browser
been using chrome since then...

Will use again if it doesn't freeze when I open 10+ tabs.

Odd, when your mom walks into my office and the porn is on, I just let it keep rolling. And then SHAPOW.

I've been on Firefox since Phoenix 0.1, but recently started using Chrome because FF just keeps freezing and became so freakin' slow!

Just updated to v29, let's see how this goes.

I have the opposite question... Is Chrome worth going back to?
I was an avid Netscape user since it came out, then for many years used Firefox. But when Chrome came out, I switched to that. Until about a year ago, when Chrome took a big dump on my daily efficiency and started acting REAL bad (suuuuper slow and sluggish, random crashes, etc). This was on my brand new 8-core CPU with 32 GB ram.

Ever since, I've been mostly happy with Firefox, although it still tends to crash if I play YouTube videos (have to use IE for that) and the browser does crash about once a day (I always have around 40 tabs open so that could be why).

Not a fan of the latest look and feel, but it works. But.. I sometimes miss Chrome. Have they fixed their issues of slowness and crashing?

Downloaded FF29 and it looks and feels good.

Just dreading customizing it and looking for all the extensions that I used on Chrome.

Fuck it... might as well have someone do that for me.

OT, but this looks really cool.

By chance is that an AMD CPU you use?
