Sick little man, had a hard time breathing, and could barely see or hear. Tried taking him in, but didn't work. One of my dogs tried to kill it this afternoon, which is understandable. My guys are strong, happy, and healthy, so they don't want a diseased mutt in their home.

Then my one neighbour got somewhat mad at me, and rightfully so. He has a 6yo daughter, and she doesn't need to see my dog kill another one, so understandable. I was trying to do the compassionate thing, but didn't work.

So I walked him about 500m away, and threw him into a ditch close to the temple gate. Am I going to hell now?

Your other dogs are tying to kill off the weak one of the herd???

WTF?

So a while ago we learned that your dogs don't listen to your orders.

Now we learn that they are killing machines that prey on the weak.

Can't wait for episode 3.

Why wouldn't you take the dog to a shelter? Most will take care of whatever you drop off as long as you pay the fees.

this has to be a troll

Pretty much, yep. Actually true though.

There isn't exactly an SPCA around here. There's homeless dogs wandering around everywhere here. Tried to do the compassionate thing, and take him in, but didn't work. If I kept him, my one dog would have chewed his head off. You can't blame my dogs for not wanting to get sick, and they had a good sniff of his bum, so could tell his state better than I could. For those that don't know, dogs sniff each other's bums because it gives off an insane amount of information regarding their physical / emotional / mental health.

So I did the next best thing, and dropped him off at the temple, which is basically the SPCA around these parts. They house probably a good 100+ dogs there. I hear them howling every morning at 6am when they ring the bell.

Tie the dog to a tree. Dig a hole. Walk the dog to the hole. Shoot the dog in the head. Bury the dog. It's not that hard. Be a man about it.

Or do something else with the dog, but either way, be a man about it.
