It Looks Like An Electoral Bloodbath Tonight

Yeah, that's the talking points they came up with. They created them pretty fast, too - their stats team must have been working overtime. It's funny because before they sent out their t.points, the Dems were all dejected and saying "Yeah, we're really getting our asses kicked" (This was around 9:30-10:00pm last night).

Then sometime around 10:30 is when they must have sent out a mass mailing, because Debbie Schultz came on TV around that time and was suddenly rattling off stats like she'd had her nose in the books that past 2 days or something lol. Then the Dems perked up and got all confident again and started repeating those t.points verbatim. Funny shit.

dude how old are you seriously? thats not a talking point, its every fucking election. 90% of americans can tell you thats how it goes, they dont need a stats team.

Clinton in 1993 had a lower approval than Obama has had. In 94 the republicans gained majority of the house for the first time in 40 years. In 96 Clinton beat Dole by nearly 10 percent.

yes but Bob Dole was no Sarah Palin so look out.

Don't know who that other guy is, but it would be absolutely sick if Schiff wins. And I think he's got a real chance with the way the trends are going. It's like a breath of fresh air listening to him talk about the markets and economy.

Rand Paul is Ron Paul's son.

OMG, all you talk about is politics, yet you don't know about the few politicians who actually stand for something other than the current status quo?

Perot picked up almost 20% of the votes Clinton got that year ... finishing @ ~9%. In all honestly, the previous election I think he got almost 20 million votes, but that was when he ran as an independent.

If Ron Paul picked up a strong VP candidate (say ... guerilla) and ran as the Libertarian candidate in 2012 he could probably get 20-25% making it a 3 dog race in 2016 thanks to the way campaign funding works. It would even force the networks to give him a spot on the debates. RP owns the internet so funding would be close to equal after the private donations come his way.
