My words exactly when Axl was a no show for a concert I never got to see in Philly back in - wow exactly 6 years to the day! Fucking got all amped up for GNR and all I got to see was fucking Mix Master Mike get booed. Was wild to witness my first near riot at a show. Bitch was doing that a lot back then.

Fuck it - still a fan though. Been meaning to check it out.

I must admit that I think the album could have been goddamn near EPIC if only it had Slash's sweet bluesy rock melodic influence, but it's still really fucking good.

Back when BMG and Columbia house were sticking those buy X for .01 in every Sunday paper, I signed up 1995ish and got Black Sabbath, Porno for Pyros, GnR, and a few other.

The old man found them and let me toss all but GnR as he's a fan too.

I miss the 90s... This hip hop shit sucks.
 
Haha yeah, those things were awesome. You could sign up for as many as you wanted, because as I recall, they don't collect your social security number, which I think makes it impossible to report the unpaid debt (correct me if I'm wrong).

Yeah, a lot of incredible music came out in the 90s.

Glad I'm not the only one, I've got a little girl growing up now and a big portion of the stuff I hear is complete shite ... ofcourse, the Britney Spears & Backstreet Boys of the past decade hasn't been any better.

This is my favorite part of the Guitar Hero & Rock Band series ... It's putting TRULY AWESOME music on tap for today's youth. If not, they'd be playing dance dance revolution all day and kill everything that shaped our generation .... and yes, my child perks up when she hears sweet child of mine, cherub rock & some of the other hits from those games when we're out in public. Gives me goosebumps.

Ooh yea, and another thing.

Perry Ferrell FTW! That was a pretty awesome live show too, slightly better than Jane's Addiciton actually.

It's odd seeing all the freaks and headbangers grow up and pwn the internet. I remember thinking I grew up in a generation of nothing but burnouts.

I bought my 2nd or 3rd copy of Appetite the other day (from loosing or playing too much etc.)

Never liked the other lead singer dude much. Someone should dick roll him ASAP.
