Talk about a let down, but I am surprised no one said anything about Seth's shot to the back of kimbo's head.

From the 2 cards of EliteXC I have seen, their refs are terrible.
 
Shamrock wasn't aloud to fight because of a cut he sustained while practicing earlier in the day. He wanted to go on, but the officials didn't approve. I was so mad, but the fight was great. The Petruzilli Guy he was fighting had a 10-4 record with 7 of the win KO. Add another one to that.

That was so anti-climatic. I was expecting the ref NOT TO end the fight because I think Kimbo could've tough it out and got back on his feet.

.... or maybe not.
 
I agree with the blow to the back of the head -
It almost looks like the ref is about to throw Petruzelli off (as soon as the blow lands on the back of the head) and give him a warning or something - I guess he just decided the nukka should get his ass pounded...

Oh well..
 
Kimbo and any real mixed martial artist is a joke. The guy is just a black version of Tank Abbot. Street brawler with little skill, just a lot of brawn. Waste of airtime IMHO.
 
Yeah for sure...he's training with Rutten too. Any retard would be a badass after a few years with Bas :D

Kimbo may be a crappy fighter who brawls but he's good for TV cuz he's good for hype. Hype = more viewership

I mean, who would want to see 2 weight light skinny fucks with technical MMA skills doing take downs, sweep reversals, and flying arm bars when you see a groteque black guy with a massive beard beating the shit outta someone ...
 
I know, I know, I'm an MMA fan (obviously) Go watch Bushido or Pride or whatever the fuck it is ... those Japanese are crazy.
 
I have a feeling same thing will happen to Brock Lesner (UFC/WWE). His been given way to much credit with just a couple fights under his belt. Also a major freak show, fun to watch. I want someone to test his chin first.

I have to disagree with that one. Lesnar is an accomplished wrestler, and has fast heavy fists as shown against Mir and Herring. He's a much more complete fighter and has looked impressive against quality fighters, not the journeymen Kimbo has fought. I agree his chin hasn't been tested much though. I can't fuckin wait for Lesnar vs. Couture.
