Lol of course you expect to get hit wtf? Whenever you see a punch coming your already ready for impact, so only if the punch is really really hard and it makes your jawbone slide into your nerves then you go out. Perfect example, chuck liddell has a crazy chin, but looked when he got knocked out by rampage, a little soft hook, but liddell didnt even see it, and against shogun. Shogun just slid to the left and threw a punch out of his vision and bam knockout, trust me i know this shit lol

I'm no expert but imo Kimbo became to aggressive when he landed a few punches which made it possible for Nelson to grab him. This happened in both rounds, and especially the 2nd round he even tried a knee while in the clinch which made it easily for him to get taken on the ground. The 1st round could have been stopped easily, even with those baby punches. But we all would have been really upset if Herb stopped them so they let them finish the round. The 2nd time Herb wasn't going to let that happen again so after Kimbo got stuck in the crucifix again and was being given baby punches it was obvious that he couldn't escape it... so the fight was stopped.

Now we all know that Kimbo nothing on the ground so any decent UFC fighter can beat him on the ground.
I was really pulling for Kimbo to win, but now that he lost I don't think he deserves to be a UFC fighter because everyone will bring him down and finish him. I'm glad for him that everyone now knows that he's a good guy just trying to play the cards he's been given.

How much can you learn when you are that old?

I'd like to see him fight Houston Alexander (who also has no ground skills).

Wow you are an idiot. I read the first two sentences and thats all i need. He has a bad chin based on his street fights?! Did you not see his first fight when he yelled "hit me" "hit me" and he let that big black mother fucker take a full swing at his chin twice? Then he yelled thats all you got, nigga its over. Lets be serious

Exactly my point. If he'd been the better fighter, or outsmarted his opponent, he would never have been on the ground buddy.

I think he partly got knocked out in that fight because of how he punches. The reason Kimbo punches so hard is because he puts his whole body into, it looks like, even more than most. He pushes of his legs and almost everything above his feet moves forward and his arm just acts like a battering ram with all that power behind it. Most of his body weight was moving into the punch that seth caught him with -- his chin leading the way. Kimbos punches are designed only for one thing. Pain. </melodramatic>
