Analyzing successful landing pages: what can you learn from market leaders?

HubSpot says that campaigns with 40+ landing pages get 12 times more leads than
campaigns with less than 5. This shows how important it is to test and try out different
approaches. But how do you make your landing pages convert? One way to do this is
to check out the best practices of market leaders.

But before implementing and adopting anything from competitors' landing pages, you
need to get the actual data from your own. You can use Google Analytics to do that.
The main metrics to analyze are:
  • views;
  • applications;
  • completed purchases;
  • conversions;
  • bounce rate;
  • traffic sources.
It's important to monitor your landing pages' performance throughout the customer
journey. This analysis should include trends, like what's happening with the indicator,
as well as any peaks and declines. It's crucial to figure out what's driving those changes.

Once you've got your metrics, you can move on to analyzing the market leader's landing
pages. And here's what you can learn from checking out other landing pages:
  • Load speed. Fast loading speed (up to 2-3 seconds) is important on any device.

  • Simplicity. If the landing page is easy to understand, visitors will figure out what
needs to be done in no time. This includes the page's look, any images, and the
order form. The lead form of successful landing pages should be short and simple,
    without any extra fields.

  • A catchy headline. It should grab the reader's attention by talking about something
they're struggling with or needs help with.

  • The text should be easy to understand and communicate the value of the product.
The text should explain the product and what the customer gets from using it.

  • One call to action, simple message. Instead of "get a consultation, register, buy,
order," make it simple and direct: "order." You can include CTAs in different spots,
like in a form field or on a button, but keep it simple and consistent so people
    know what to expect.

  • Social proof. Successful landing pages should include testimonials, certificates,
and awards. Ideally, the reviews should include names, photos, and contact
information of the customers, showing that real people wrote them.

  • Mixed content. A landing page should have text, images, and videos, with the
focus on the benefits. Forrester Research says that a minute of video is the
same as about 1.8 million words. Images of successful landing pages include
    live people, emotions.
To analyze a landing page, it's important to break it down into its individual components
and assess how each element affects the overall impression from the user's perspective.

You should be consistent in implementing the elements you liked from the competitors
and testing them. It's better to make one change at a time. For example, in the first case,
change the text and see the results. In the second test, work with the form. In the third
test - work with lead magnets. This way, you can figure out which variables have the
biggest impact on the results.

The secrets of creating and converting ad creatives: what do you need to know?

Converting creatives gives you a lot of new leads. These creatives natively promote the
offer and inform people about it, but it doesn't feel like advertising. They often use
humor or strong emotions.

You can also present creative in an unusual way. For instance, the cosmetics company
Vaseline used old paintings in their anti-wrinkle cream ad campaign:

AD_4nXflA-1i2o-kPf_NW5gy7_1Z4UKw5sZ3SLYcVpMr4L5nFsNqpYrotdE9kO31mjHCri14qBF0tToLg3HNU2FTlsQMevH4DoO3Q0RjCHv1_hHHatPZ9UPFDQoFoUrDPyeh9Yw

Converting creative clearly shows that it solves a problem. On top of that, it provides
an additional benefit. We suggest mixing up a few approaches in one creative. For
example, you can use a "before and after" with the result shown, highlight the
discount, and add an element of an incoming personal message:

AD_4nXfvcQ9oTGt3E_wYh5TOpy_nM4btmBAwwOuvw6irqNceL8G0INYsLFcJfsmGOlFntFwWtukvrHK8Vt6hxLhP9oeDi7nyL2HYpymErKoXbBCU7jbmYvnZc9OC280IjfCW9lo

Converting creative can do more than just solve a problem; it can also offer a
benefit. For example, it can lead to an informative article or a landing page.

AD_4nXfcE-axlXQBT6-QggVLSVIgD46irniuJMfDWtyBj1iQTqYRW8h0I_AeKftQRFIk3_3T_GCm7QIxN6w-FkjcouY_KVcOC5-O3i410aTl_YUaSVs5mhVpDuwbW8lKYPo5mZ4

It's a good idea to promote offers by telling a story. The story should make
the reader feel something, and it should show how a person dealt with a
problem and figured out a solution.

AD_4nXd99V3KD6v1r2RU3sqjM3ELN3mAJKGLw3XZtJr64TGYwOmEWMSVVfHuRJnRQzpxwyGIaraJ1DarpWVaNvI3j32IjWOVtlXJ8Alm6Q4dIOAVjS1gB9V85Oc-OTiXYGwh2AA

If a creative has hit a trend, microtrend, or highlighted an ongoing event, it can
convert too. Here are some of the best microtrends and events to use:
  • Those that get a lot of attention;

  • Those that are not too negative, like news stories, product shortages,
    or technical issues;

  • Those that happened within the last 24-48 hours, as it's important to
    react quickly.
You can use Google Trends, X Trending Topics, and Reddit to find events for
creating arbitrage creatives.

When working with creatives, it's important to be super careful and avoid
scandals. For example, you can't build advertising on tragedies or disasters
where people die.

Preparing and developing this kind of ads can take time, as you need to know
what will grab the audience's attention
, what will be unique, and what's better
to avoid. If the creative is good, it might go viral for a few days, which can
increase sales.

Google's latest algorithm changes

According to Impressiondigital, Google implements several hundred minor updates each
year. Global updates from Google are released every six months and are designed to
enhance the user experience. Information about the latest changes will be valuable for
affiliates who work with websites and landing pages to drive Nutra traffic using
Google Ads, PPC, or SEO.

Site Reputation Abuse (SRA)

Google has intensified its efforts to combat "parasitic SEO," which refers to manipulating
website rankings by using other people's content. Following the May 2024 update, manual
actions against offenders will be replaced by algorithmic processes. Therefore, ensure that
the content on your website or landing page is original, and avoid using questionable
promotional tactics.

Core update in August 2024

This update is part of Google's ongoing commitment to improving quality and builds
on the update released in March. The March update focused on Google's anti-spam
efforts and reduced the prevalence of inaccurate content by up to 45%. Now, priority
is given to content that is genuinely useful, rather than articles stuffed with keywords.
It is recommended to keep information up to date, provide additional resources that
may be valuable to readers, and avoid using automated methods to generate content.

Updating blatantly fake content

Google's algorithms for detecting and managing AI-generated content, particularly
deepfakes, have significantly improved. Nutra sites must be especially cautious about
how they present information. Ensure that all visual materials used on the site are
properly licensed and that their sources are clearly cited.

AI integration

Google is set to introduce AI-generated summaries in search results, which will impact
content visibility. Websites that consistently publish useful, high-quality content with a
strong level of expertise are more likely to be featured in these summaries. Invest in
well-written articles and tutorials that address users' specific health and beauty
concerns.

December Core 2024 Update

This update is particularly important for websites and landing pages that have
experienced a significant drop in traffic. Analyze your site's traffic and user
interaction metrics, and update any outdated content.

Based on the results of the 2024 updates, Google now requires sites and landing
pages in the Nutra niche to prioritize content quality and adhere to the new
guidelines. The key is to provide valuable and original content that genuinely
meets users' needs. Revise your strategies to not only align with the algorithms
but also to drive traffic growth!

GEO Overview

According to the latest stats from our KMA.biz webmasters, there are a few countries
where Nutra offers are becoming really popular. Spain, Argentina, Serbia, Italy, and
Portugal are hot GEOS with high conversion rates, so today we're going to take a
look at the peculiarities of working in these regions.

Spain

AD_4nXcxCX7Xy5W06OlpAdVh_GTArZF34BfLJV0N2hrNvMaOQ73gYblDyml-882EyNEmVlE1MH8SCbNC7z1rpqSVqqk8MHFvxa7wwSqpTrGuT-ffV7b9SYCX5twliduckjDiRCc?key=tgqX9aV1nNWzRR1-nM-IvIEF

Spanish audiences value authenticity, so it's best to leverage opinion leaders, authorities,
or even reviews from real customers to achieve the best results. Including photos
of people using the product in ads can help build trust. Creative, bright landing pages
that highlight the product's features can boost conversions. Price, special offers,
discounts, and promotions are also key factors influencing purchasing decisions. The
best source of traffic is Facebook.

Run the offer Hondrodox joint cream, GEO Spain.

Argentina

AD_4nXcOmL9D3EcZkeWaLz-_qKpXLxvbgktI2ww0xkB6CLS_nlT3REF5W1NTURfoRMUCRBHCQg48AE7OiS2bzqeN0BEb9WoJUgU6W02N2ODeQYj2NM7MD5WM5Nbp_RgycVSv4Q?key=tgqX9aV1nNWzRR1-nM-IvIEF

To successfully promote Nutra products in Argentina, it's important to incorporate
elements of local culture and consider the language. The creatives should be
adapted as much as possible, with a focus on national colors and local celebrities.
Simple, concise images and videos are preferred. And since the income level isn't
very high, it's best to emphasize discounts and promotions. The optimal platforms
for advertising are Google and Facebook.

Use the offer Rhino Gold — male enhancement pills, GEO Argentina.

Serbia

AD_4nXeyP0YqoLduTDhO5YuaKL2127bjPhriX3hk59KkDC40my89nZKTsGWsliJK-5T0LylADKnAND9i9v6EGNJN3ovMI6U2klAJ47Ke7mGZbNiUKJSn2bIHqkJDPXDgr7HskeY?key=tgqX9aV1nNWzRR1-nM-IvIEF

Serbians value natural products and a healthy lifestyle, so you can emphasize that
using a Nutra offer can improve health and physical activity. Use reviews and
recommendations from local influencers and people within the target audience
to build credibility. Additionally, incorporate elements of urgency, such as
promotions, deadlines, and discounts. The best platforms for this GEO are
Facebook and Instagram.

Run the Prostatin offer — prostatitis pills at a competitive price, GEO Serbia.

Italy

AD_4nXdUCwQofkKhybKHhgixYSh22vQ-ilJRj2Kg_w79HuYhdsJvqZwr9VIgdk3XDUlnqTbH7H1Syl-GW2SQ8B-_w1wI6IHpqi6kKaZLl3NCcJZHQGIs5NI96iGnRKSoYoSmokI?key=tgqX9aV1nNWzRR1-nM-IvIEF

People in Italy often purchase Nutra products online, and they are attracted to
appealing offers. Discounts, promotions, and opportunities to save money on
purchases are key factors. Fast, free delivery is another crucial element.
Incorporating WhatsApp design elements in your ads can enhance personalization,
as this messenger is highly popular and familiar. Emotional creatives featuring
customer testimonials are also effective. The primary advertising platforms are
Google, Facebook, and YouTube.

A great choice are Easyloss slimming capsules, GEO Italy.

Portugal

AD_4nXfeEx7ES6gJHs32oiYnKqfzdrWQ7McCQtowDAP6HMGaDxcu2UPb5opfIgzEbTZRQpSECJXwUfnk_frDFIqrlqw7-Jx5dnbhnHZaQx5J3gTHjcT6-K6K0gXZ6T4KVjevBA4?key=tgqX9aV1nNWzRR1-nM-IvIEF

In Portugal, it’s essential to emphasize the benefits and competitive pricing.
Highlighting discounts and promotions with a limited timeframe can significantly
speed up the decision-making process. Portuguese consumers tend to collect and
analyze information thoroughly, so it’s crucial to provide detailed product information,
including its composition, safety, and contraindications. Conservative advertising
approaches are more effective here than overly creative or exaggerated tactics.
Recommended traffic sources include Google and Facebook, while Instagram and
YouTube should also be considered.

Pay attention to the offer Toxofil — anti-parasite capsules, GEO Portugal.

KMA case: $4,841 in profits from gastritis treatment products

Today, KMA's buying team will tell us about a profitable and interesting topic: medicines
for GI diseases, with a special focus on our offer "Pyrantox".

Market potential

The World Health Organization says that half the population suffers from chronic
gastritis, which means a lot of potential customers for this offer, especially among the
27+ audience.

Campaign parameters
  • Dates: 13.01-18.02.2024, 21.08-06.09.2024
  • Advertiser: KMA
  • Offers: Pyrantox - capsules for GI diseases (free)
  • Rates: $19 — $32
  • Source: Facebook
  • GEO: Kazakhstan
  • Expenditure: $9,472
  • Income: $14,313
  • ROI: 51.10%
  • Leads: 2,647 (confirmed: 668, approval rate: 25.2%)
  • Accounts: TrustRDP
1.jpg

Screenshot of the traffic launch

Results

After the initial period of driving traffic, the team increased the rate due to a high
redemption rate, which significantly contributed to the campaign's success. Despite
a temporary drop in the conversion rate (CR) in August, the higher rate and increased
approval rate let the campaign stay afloat. In the near future, we're planning to develop
new pre-landing pages to improve performance.

Approaches

To run traffic, we used TrustRDP agent accounts, eliminating the need for farming
or other manipulations. The primary method for driving traffic was the 3-5-1 model.

Initially, we set the audience targeting to 40+, but after extensive testing, we identified
that the optimal age group was 27+. We focused on Russian-language creatives and
later introduced Kazakh-language versions, which had a positive effect.

Creatives and settings

The creatives were focused on gastritis, with several different versions tested. The best
results were achieved using pre-landing pages in Kazakh. All other settings remained
standard:
campaign budget, autoplayers, gender targeting (both male and female).
And we used ChatGPT to generate five different versions for the text under the creative.

3.jpg

Examples of creatives and pre-landing pages

Conclusion

This case shows how important it is to test new topics and adapt to market specifics.
We recommend you create unique creatives and continue to test to get the most
out of high-potential offers like "Pyrantox."

Did you manage to lose weight for summer? KMA case: we made a net profit
of $10,022 from a Facebook traffic launch, GEO Spain

When running Facebook traffic on GEO Spain, we faced several challenges. For
example, the video creatives weren’t very effective initially. However, after extensive
testing and optimization, we achieved an ROI of 102%. This case demonstrates that
with the right strategy and continuous adjustments, you can achieve great results,
even when starting with obstacles.

Goal: Traffic Arbitrage for Easyloss on Facebook with a minimum ROI of 70%.
Consumables: Agent accounts - fewer bans, higher limit.
Target audience: Women (age 35+) living in Spain who are interested in weight loss
products.
Platform: Facebook, due to its popularity and reach of the female audience.

Creatives

Although we initially expected video creatives to perform well, tests showed they
weren’t effective for our campaign. As a result, we decided to switch to static images.

1.png

Testing

1. Even though we tried different creatives and carousels, the results remained the same,
and sometimes even got worse. The video creatives didn't impact the audience, while
static images showed consistent conversions.

2. We ran on ad sets, and the best result was set up 1.1.5. We started with a budget of
$50 and if the ad set was successful, we bumped it up by $100

Monitoring & Optimization

The average lead price was between $4.5 and $5.5, with a CTR of 8-10% and a CPM
of $8 to $11. The high ROI was due to the good rates and high approval rates.

AD_4nXcpu16sX9I4o0C3rAyO7DgsibPvECTlqU4ct_15Ty6eXjgzV8oHCz6rm7XsNNKQnfggMkq86JGgi9LONcQ-trK9RnPiixyv7jnluAG34P0cPjmKAc_wYvS3A7sTRaM62JU

Conclusion

The Easyloss campaign in Spain not only met but exceeded our expectations. Here are
the results: total revenue of $19,810, net profit of $10,022, and a ROI of 102%. We got all
this by April 2024.

AD_4nXeE0-CDJboyVRc1SxGw1JpKE1uz0-HKuFFjkVdKUvP2OeVR_y8McHIrSEmxp0K0zlRXhjJAiMqZdCr_BoMVQHASippDFstiqs1j1V_uiXETqtq4Bp6RNgV6gdCG843Tzkc

The main points:
  • In some cases, static ads can outperform video ads in terms of effectiveness.
  • Testing creatives is a key part of success.
  • It’s crucial to monitor your campaigns closely and make adjustments as needed
    to maximize results.
  • The key to our success is Easyloss—a new offer for Spain that we were confident
    would be effective.

Fishing/June/Lake Barragem de Alqueva

The boys and I gathered to throw fishing rods, opened a thermos of tea... forgot the
worms.
– Wtf where are the worms?
– You took them, didn't you?
– I thought you'd take it.
– Wait a minute. Arthur takes out something.
⛹️‍♂️Arthur (our mysterious friend) slowly takes the jar out of his backpack

– I'll figure it out.

He sits down in the lotus position and... begins to sob.
– There's... something MOVING inside of me!

‍️He writhes, bends over, clutches the ground, and then, with an inhuman howl,
rips off his pants and gets into a half-squat.

Silence.
Only the sound of the wind ruffles the leaves.

Then you hear... a slap.

Something falls on the wet grass.

It's something that's MOVING.

It's a whole bunch of fat, white, wriggling worms.
The boys froze.
Arthur gasps, clutches his knees, and points with trembling hands at the living, quivering
mass.

— Take it… I can't take it anymore.…

Vlad stretches out his hand, picks up one of the worms, examines it in the light…

– Bitch it's perfect. This is a premium class, with an ECO+ certificate.
He puts it on the hook.

Ten minutes later, the best fish of the morning is on the hook.

No one talked to Arthur.
But it was catching like never before.

Bait: Artur + Toxofil 38$/the price on the land is 39€

Why wasn't I born an octopus?

I haven't cooked for about a century. But Gordon Ramsay woke up in me. Of course,
if it comes to a dish with money, then KMA is an aperitif and a digestif, which I have
prepared for the common table in a unique way, but...

«Alfredo with seafood»

Knife in one hand, phone in the other.
In parallel, the YouTube «how to cook pasta».

I turn on the water with my elbow. I shouldn't have.
The phone falls into the sink. Also in vain.

I'm looking for a stand in the first drawer. I find a jar of adenophrine frauded from
a land in Italy for €39, but I got $42 cashback.

Immediately into the mouth. I immediately adjusted the desired angle of the
stand and continued the event. The pasta came out divine.

If I had found it earlier, I would have learned how to make pizza.…

2010. A bad date when I was poor

It was a time when iPhones still didn't know how to take normal photos, and perfumes
were on trend, leaving a trail for several blocks. I was younger, overconfident, and
not very knowledgeable about dating.

She's a dream girl. Long hair, a look like in Italian movies, and a voice that you
want to record on tape and listen to forever. Even then, it was necessary to
understand that there was a catch.

In the evening, I go out to a meeting in my best outfit: a V-neck T-shirt, patent
leather shoes, and a fragrance that could have been used to fumigate the Vatican
Cathedral. I approach the meeting place, a cafe with a sign that was missing two
letters.

She's standing at the entrance. The first thing I hear is:

—Oh, you don't look like the photo.

I smile, pretending to take it as a compliment.

The fun begins.

I order tea. She chooses the most expensive positions. She casually notices
that she is tired after shopping and her legs are barely carrying her.

Code:
— What shoe size do you wear?
— 42nd.
— Well I thought that men should have a bigger foot size.…

Pause.

We order food. She chooses "something light," but ends up with three
dishes on the table. I say I'll pay the bill. She laughs. A long, lingering
pause.

They bring food. She deftly handles pasta, telling what gifts her past
boyfriends gave her. At some point, I realize that she has a phobia of
pauses in conversation, so she talks non-stop.

An hour and a half passes, I already know everything:

— How her ex brought her flowers from Paris, but they were picked up
by customs.
— How one fan bought her a phone, but she broke it a week later.
— How men don't know how to take care, and "if I were normal, I
would have already ordered dessert."

At this moment, I want to go out the window.

They bring me the bill.

— You're not one of those people who counts every penny, are you?

After half an hour, already outside the cafe, I feel tension in the air.

Code:
— Did you know that men have problems after 30?
— What kind of problems?
— Well... physiological.

I laugh nervously, even though it's not funny to me.
She continues:

— Have you ever been tested?

I am silent. There's a black hole in my head.

Code:
— For example, Adenofrin in Italy is generally the number one.
— What's number one?
- Well, from prostatitis.

I walk home clutching a check in my pocket that looks like it will go
down in history.

The next day, I google Adenofrin.
39 euros on the website. Approve 28%+. The bid is 40$+.

But the date from 2010 didn't get an approve.

Dubai, 3 AM

There is humility and a bottle of coconut water in the fridge, and a cooled shawarma on
the table, which has become part of the interior.

My friends and I are sitting in the kitchen. A lighter in a circle.
One tells how taxi drivers drive in circles even in a city where everything is one straight
avenue. The second one is about a watch that a Pakistani sells for 50 dirhams.

"That's the million—dollar question. Why is everything beautiful in this city not real?
— There is one exception, — the friend holds out the phone. — BigHunter in Greece
and Cyprus.
There is no falsehood here. Only the best product.

On the screen are the creatives that have entered the BigHunter in. Even the burjis in
the background have slightly dimmed their glow.

Kazakhstan is calling

At the moment, KMA is the only network that feels the pulse of the market and moves to
the rhythm of fresh opportunities. While others are trampling in the footsteps of old
offers, we are already opening new doors. All the other sentences are an echo of the past,
sounding in the void.

I have three trump cards for this.:

1. Our offers did not travel all over Almaty 12 times.

2. Without flattery / I'm responsible for the bazaar / without crosses: the strongest
Russian-speaking CC

3. Well, the most important take is a local examination. If Di had not been born in
Belarus, she would have chosen Kazakhstan.

As with any trend, whoever gets up first gets his sneakers.

Everything is free on Land:
Uromax (potency)
Uromax (prostatitis)
Cosmo Slim (weight loss)
Frutaksa (weight loss)
Cardiocin (hypertension)
Insulaite (diabetes)

Lisbon, 2018.

I'm sitting here watching people. Tourists roam the streets of Alfama, a musician plays
fada, and I think the world is two—way.

When I went to the store to buy wine for my beloved, I asked the adult uncle of the
winemaker:

— What is more important: grapes or a barrel?
He smiled:
— Turn the glass over — what's left?

I remember this conversation while watching the video. Is it funny? By the way
, after these words, he turned around and peed somewhere behind the counter in
front of me.

It's the same in life: it's worth turning your gaze over, and everything familiar
suddenly becomes different.

As with Toxofil in Portugal. Yesterday it seemed to be clean, but today you
look — and it's not like that anymore.

Newbie mistakes in traffic arbitrage

Arbitrage looks like easy money at first glance. Things like screenshots in chat rooms and those ‘I made 10 times more in a week’ stories make it seem like this game is just a casino where it's super easy to get rich.

The truth? Arbitrage is chess, not roulette. Those who plan several moves ahead win, not those who bet on red and hope for a miracle. That's why most beginners quit in the first month: they enter the game with misguided expectations.

Many think the hardest part is finding a 'killer offer'. In reality, the real challenge is avoiding the same mistakes over and over. Until you get this, you'll just keep dumping your money into the marketing without any profit.

Mistake #1. Blind hope on Ad Creative

There’s a common myth:
all you need is decent Ad Creative for money to pour in
Example: a guy runs a nutra offer. His Ad Creative consists of a girl with a tape measure who supposedly lost 20kg in a week. CTR is fantastic, clicks are pouring in like water from a cornucopia. But the landing page is broken — it loads in 12 seconds. The offer is old, the approval rate is only 8%. Plus, the default pre-landing has a typo in the headline.
Result? Loss. Even though the CTR was amazing.

Verdict: the ad creative is only the door to your funnel. It grabs attention — but if the funnel behind it is flawed, the target audience will leave.

Mistake #2. Insufficient testing

Classic move:
a beginner launches one offer, one ad creative, one GEO. It loses money — and they decide the whole setup doesn’t work.
That’s totally wrong! You need to split-test it: at least 5–10 creatives, multiple pre-landing, and targeting angles.
Mini-case: I ran nutra in the EU. Only one of the ten creative solutions was profitable.
Out of 4 pre-landings, only one delivered 30% higher conversions than the others. If I had tested only one option, I would’ve probably thrown a winning combo in the trash.
And remember: you need to analyse tests properly. A high CTR means nothing if any conversions don’t follow. That’s not a click problem — it’s a landing page or offer issue. With no analysis, you'll just be treading water.

Mistake #3. 'I Know Everything Myself'

Many newbies enter with the mindset:
'I’ll prove I’m the smartest here.' Things like forums, chats, and training are for wimps.
However, unless you share your experiences, read case studies, and get advice from more experienced individuals, you are bound to repeat their mistakes. Arbitrage is a community. The most valuable information doesn't come from Google, but from private team chats and private messages.

Be sure to keep in touch with other buyers — it will save you months and even hundreds of dollars.

Mistake #4. 'Money always comes back.'

Newbies often perceive the budget as a deposit. Like, 'I invested $500, I should get $1,000. If I don't get it, then I've been cheated.'

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of the essence of arbitrage. Here, the budget is not an investment, but a fee for information. You pay for the data: what the audience reacts to, what kinds of combinations don't work, where the funnel breaks down. You almost always lose money at the beginning. But if you have analytics and know how to draw conclusions, you'll ultimately come out ahead.

Mistake #5. Pouring money in all directions

There are some newbies who are 'sprinters':
they launch 10 offers a day, believing that at least one will shoot through. In reality, this just causes chaos.

It’s better to take one offer and break it down into its constituent parts: test formats, segments, landing pages, and geos. When you understand why a combination works, it’s easier to scale it.

In addition, a newbie who pours money in all directions usually does not conduct proper analytics. As a result, they themselves do not understand what exactly worked and what did not.

Mistake #6. No Tracking

Too many newbies 'guesstimate' their spend
— keeping numbers in their head and glancing at stats once a week. That’s not tracking, that’s gambling.
A pro buyer has everything under control: spreadsheets, trackers, per-source accounting. You need to know exactly how much you spent, ROI per funnel, and where your break-even point lies.
If you don't have numbers, you don't have any control over the process or anything else.

Mistake #7. Ignoring GEOs and Audience

Classic case:
a newbie sees in chat 'nutra in Indonesia is fire,' logs into Ads Manager, and launches straight into Indonesia.
No understanding that the audience is unique, with low ticket sizes. No utilized landing pages — just Google Translate. No grasp of payment systems or local trust issues. Result? Loss.
Don’t chase every 'hot GEO.' Study the market, read reports, and ask colleagues first.

Mistake #8. Chasing Freebies

Newbies love fairy tales:
'private offer from a buddy,' 'magic software with 300% ROI no tests needed,' 'white nutra with no bans.'
In reality, it’s either a scam, or it only works for those with insiders’ info.
There are no freebies in arbitrage. Every profit is built on dozens of tests, dozens of losses, and hundreds of iterations. If someone promises 'profit without testing' — it’s almost always a trap.

Mistake #9. Being emotional

Newbies often fail not because of bad connections, but because of panic. Today it's $1000 up, tomorrow it's $1000 down — and suddenly there's panic.

In such a situation, a beginner may turn off the campaign just as it is gaining momentum, pour everything into one offer that ' yesterday yielded a profit,' or simply quit the account because of a ban.

An experienced buyer understands that arbitrage is like a seesaw. There will always be downsides; the question is how you deal with them. Calmness and a cool head are more important than any software.

Mistake #10. Lack of a strategy for growth

Even if a newbie gets lucky and makes a profit, the story often ends the same way: a new iPhone, a stack of branded hoodies, and vacation tickets. After a couple of weeks, the balance is back to zero, and the account is empty.

An experienced buyer acts differently. They view any profit as fuel for the next round: they invest in new sources, buy software, order creative content, and invest in their team. That's why tomorrow they will have more money, a larger scale, and greater stability.

Newbie mistakes are not a judgment, but part of the process. There are no people in arbitrage who just walked in and immediately started making money without any losses. Everyone went through the downs, everyone got banned and failed.

Yes, arbitrage requires nerves, time, and discipline. But it gives you something that no office job can: freedom of choice and income that depends only on you.

Real arbitrage is like a seesaw. Today you're down, tomorrow you're up. The main thing is not to take it like the end of the world. Analyze, draw conclusions, and move on. This is how you gain experience, confidence, and the ability to take a hit, which over time will turn the chaos of your first losses into stable growth and consistent results.
