Obama is quite crooked and just another politician from Chicago.

His buddy Rezko that he almost worked for directly when outta law school just got sent up.

They were longtime associates and Rezko bought the land next to Obamas house and let him use it.

Obama would have done nothing while the mortgage companies were lining their pockets with the profits from bad loans. Then they all sell them to get them off their books.

This is another wave of globalization. Where the living standards for westerners drop, people in India, China etc. get richer.

We all meet in the middle somewhere to become one global economy.

How can we look at this development as affiliate marketers?

I believe that those in the right niches can benefit from the surging interest in debt help, foreclosure info, etc.

There are always certain industries that make out like bandits during stressful times.

Nice video on Yahoo! today.

Backs up talk about The Fed, The companys themself, Congress, and for some reason somewhat dodges the Bush Administration.

The Fed is very powerful, no doubt. But the US Government can still control it...it's not like it's a rogue group of money printers.

No the Government can not control the Fed, if it could it would no longer exist. There is no point to paying a private organization extra money.

However, if a president would stand up to the Fed they'd likely be assassinated as a few have in the past.

I didnt know we had a King of America. How can 1 person be at fault? Do you know how a democracy works?

Democrat or Republican it's still the same old BS. It's not a matter of who's president, it's a matter of how smart the sheeple are, and well, they didn't get the name sheeple for nothing.

Lehman and Merrill are just a continuation of what's to come. Fannie and Freddy have already been picked up compliments of the American taxpayer. It's all just a big game of control with a mass heard of sheeple. You have to ask yourself, why is it interest rates were so low the last 5 years? Why is it everyone was able to get a mortgage? Do you really think these things were an accident? Who's benefiting most because of this? Follow the money.

Go ahead and keep blaming Bush, he'll be out shortly and there will be a new front-man for you to bash. Then you can keep bashing him and be blinded by who's really running the show.

It's all just a game.

My husband works for AIG. :-(

All I can say is I'm ready for the last 8 years to finally be over.

LOL..learn to think for yourself. This is a bi-partison problem. The financial mess we are in has been comming for years. Both parties knew a shit sandwich from comming our way. Now the tax payers are gona have to take a bite.

Hell the democrats have been running congress for two years now. What the hell have they been doing. Oh..yea worrying about the rights of bugs, trees and getting a bigger jet to criss cross the nation in.

Why hasn't congress jumped all over the freddie mac people? Why isn't there hearings being called. Oh, thats right those institutions were ran by democrats left over from the Clinton admin.

Really though How can anyone with any intelligence think that nancy, harry and the rest of the fools would be able to do anything, anyways. Keep voting these idiots (both parties) back into office and we are gona be a fucking third world country before its over.

£11+ Billion pumped into AIG by the Fed. £20+ Billion pumped into the money markets by Bank of England. hahahaha...what a fucking joke. Get ready for some kick ass inflation.

Isn't funny how everyone concern themselves about tax and "present" inflation. This is of its best reactive. All this "printed" money is being pumped in with no one complaining what so ever. Flipin wake up people!

Some newspapers are calling it "saving the economy". All I can do is laugh. hahaha!

"More of the same" actually..... another rant about 'change' from Obama, and another self-defeating public statement from Biden on why Obama should have picked Hillary instead of himself..... yawn.

I do have to give Biden credit for stating the obvious. I guess he is not as stupid as he looks and sounds.

All this tells me is that Republicans fold to whatever their party wants them to do, while Democrats will at least stand for what they originally believed in.
wtf? so what your saying is that the gop votes their party and the dems vote what they want, hhhmmm, and exactly how is that working out, seeing they have been in power for two years? What has happened to the economy in the last two years?

Well it's Tuesday now - what do we have...Fed's (AKA Taxpayers) take over AIG.

Yeah, I'm sure glad the Republicans don't tax us like the democrats. Wonder what Wednesday will bring...

Um, the democrats are in charge right now, both house and senate, everytime the gop is in power, my taxes go down, the democrats want to give tax breaks to the poor, when they don't even pay taxes, go ahead, look at a tax statement of a single woman with two kids that makes about say 20k a year, they pay no taxes and at the end of the year, they can receive about $5k in a return

On top of that they get free healthcare, section 8 housing & foodstamps. This is definitely the country to belong to if you are poor.

So tell me democrat supporters, how is catering to these people beneficial to the country as a whole?

How are the tax breaks provided to them going to help our economy?

How is giving them a handout going to inspire them to get off their ass and get a job?

Global GDP = $55 trillian, global financial assets = $195 trillian.

I wouldn't be too worried about inflation right now.
