This is just a scenario... what are the chances of it happening?

Millions of Americans start burning the Koran...

KKK-like groups start chasing after muslims on the streets and beating them up...

Fanatical muslims in the middle east go nutts and start attacking US embassies, consulates, official buildings, settlements and kidnapping american nationals and taking hostages...

The US sends in more troops to mess them up and use military force to clean the area and save hostages...

However, things are getting dirtier.... Terrorist groups in the area grow in popularity and are able to get more young muslims to join their ranks (CTR and Conversion Rate has never been as good for recruiters :D)

Israel sends in troops all over to back the US forces...

The area is being bombed like shit (Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine...etc), Civilian Casualties are skyrocketing! Millions of people are marching on the streets all over the muslim world...

Iran and Pakistan can't take it no more... they send in their own troops to counter attack!

The international community is pressuring the UN to stop this massacre but the UN can't do shit, it got way too big for them!

France, England and Germany jump in with the US...

Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela & North Korea jump with the other side...

World War 3... the planet is wiped out by nuclear weapons :ugone2far:

Yeah, I am assuming that the allied superpowers would win that war quickly. Russia, Cuba, North Korea? Those countries might have a substantial stockpile of weapons, but I'd bet that only a small fraction of them actually work. I'm not so sure China would elect to support that side. US military is quite the juggernaut. Our Air Force is the largest in the world, and I recently read that the US Navy is the second largest air force.

... Or Pakistan deploys their entire nuclear arsenal and we all die in the nuclear winter.

Won't happen that way china is too economically dependent on the rest of the world now they wouldn't side against us. Remember no 2 countries that have mcdonalds have ever gone to war
 
yeah... but... it's a Communist country buddy. They have shown hostile signs against the US on many occasions. I don't know... I just can't picture the US and China teaming up. Too different systems/mentalities/goals.

I don't know about India though... they're pretty US-friendly, but at the same time all their neighbors aren't... I don't know what they would do.
 
On Armageddon, today's weapons will no longer work. Nuclear bombs, guns, cars, planes, etc. will become useless.

As to the OP, there's bigger things to worry about than random Koran-burning incidents. That's mere intimidation.

The bigger things are Russia and China, who are arming their puppet governments and slowly provoking us.
