Those of you with email domains hosted at ZenSix, or on servers using the Dovecot email system (contact your hoster to verify) and have been experiencing blank screens when trying to access your checkmail.php files manually, here is a fix you should put in immediately.

First, you should be using the latest version of checkmail.php found in version 1.7.5 or later.

On lines 33~35, change this

to this

I didn't need to change the following on my shared hosting accounts, but I did need to change it on my VPS. I wouldn't change it unless you encounter problems.

On line 11

Code:

Change this to

$email_host = 'localhost'; // email host, in 99% cases it's mail.domainname.com
If you are *not* experiencing problems, I would make no changes. Except I would upgrade to the latest version of checkmail.php. It has enhancements to improve mail verification.
 


LFE is a wonderful product. When you decide to buy it, make sure you use guerilla's link. His support is unbelievable. Not only he told me his strategy with LFE, he also visited my new website and gave good suggestions about how to make them more seo-friendly. I put up this blogpost for LFE users who are new to SEO and looking for a place to start. Person after person that I meet that needs a lot of help, haven't been able to build one site, rank it and bank prior to buying LFE. So the idea here is to start small, prove you can do something once, even if it is building a simple backlink structure, and then start scaling out.

I plan to blog more, but I don't want to be mistaken for someone who thinks he is a guru. I am not. Just someone pointing out stuff that is fairly obvious, that people sometimes get too frustrated to pick up on when they are starting out.

I will post here when I have more stuff up for folks to look at.

Phrench I actually read this blog post and the comment about the low number of working hosts - it almost stopped me from purchasing LFE.

I decided to take the jump and after just a day I can say I'm happy I did.

The 20-30 blog number sounds pretty pathetic and I'm not sure what these users are doing to get a low amount.

I'll take a wild guess:

1. They are simply starting with a low number of creations. Just this morning I tried creating 160 blogs and it had around a 60% success rate. From this I can expect a few to be disabled however I'm pretty confident I'll be left with at least 50-something blogs to play around with.

2. They may be using the default catchall e-mails that come with the program. I was first using these and my success rate was not so great. Tried creating my own catchall e-mails through Hostgator (where I installed LFE) and they had disabled catchalls. I gave Guerilla a PM (made sure to buy through his link) and he hooked me up with a few exclusive catchalls I could use. Since then success rate has been way up.

3. They might have not used the Find WP Hosts feature. I've been doing this if I want to create some-what niched blogs (like WP blogs on health domains, for example). LFE will search for and find 50-100 new WP hosts while I multitask on something else. I can then use these hosts exclusively and create blogs on them.

But the database from what I understand is in the thousands, so if you really wanted to you could probably create somewhere close to 1,000 plus blogs (although I haven't tried this - want to go easy on the shared hosting I'm set up on)
 
I'm not actively sending iTrader but if anyone wants iTrader for buying LFE through me, let me know and I'm happy to get that done.
 
Wow, guerilla, thanks for answering all these questions. I'm pretty much sold at this point. I'm just curious is this for BlackHat SEO strategies only? I have a few ecommerce sites I'd love to rank-up but I don't want to get banned. Can this be done safely without having the Google ban hammer come down hard on my sites? Worked to hard on them to get de-indexed.

If this de-indexes sites, people would buy it to use on their competitors in the serps.

If the sites and content you are promoting are not super spammy, I wouldn't stress out too much about it. I can't promise Google won't de-index you, and I can't promise Google will rank you #1, 2 or 3. Anyone who makes promises is probably lying. This tool will register and control blogs, and it has a really good content publishing engine, which I think is it's best feature. If you think those features will help your SEO strategy, then this might be the tool for you.

Thanks. I'm not asking for promises, just wanted to make sure this wasn't going to ruin all the work I've already done. I'm going to order through your link next week. I appreciate all the insight.

This will probably be my first purchase here. Am still at this stage so give me maybe until Jan 2010 when I have read up everything I need to know on this ind strength SEO tool.

This is an awesome blog post dude.

I actually came here from that post after doing some research on LFE. Your post and diagram really cleaned up the whole process for me, especially with the scaling! That makes everything so much more manageable.

I purchased Xrumer a couple weeks back and this is next on the list! I feel that LFE will be the Bugatti engine, and Xrumer will fuel that engine. :D
Though it seems the more i read about LFE, it doesnt really need fuel..

Anyways, ill be buying soon via your link!

I don't know this person, but I would be very wary of buying someone else's license, unless you can confirm with LFE that they will generate you a new and unique license key.
