I'm sort of surprised that for all the Ron Paul supporters here, no one has ever mentioned Alex Jones. They are friends, and they believe in the same shit. You can hear Alex Jones mon - fri 11 am CST - 3 pm CST, and sunday 4 pm to 6pm CST (i think) from infowars.com or prisonplanet.com. Do yourself a favor and watch some documentaries by Alex and others. In fact Ron Paul was on his show today, you can still get the pod cast. Alex Jones knows his shit!

Also keep an eye on Peter Schiff over at europac.net. Peter does a 1 hour radio show once a week on Wed night. From what I understand he was Ron Pauls economics guy when he was running for president. He is also one of the most vocal guys on the economy period, he has all his TV interviews on his site. I'm surprised any network lets him on and he has clips of others laughing at his predictions which are coming true right now.

I agree with a lot of what he says... but there's just something about the guy that makes even a non-violent pacifist hippy like me wanna punch him in the face. He almost makes Michael Moore seem likeable.

I like how alex jones tried to get to the truth but he sometimes makes some pretty far fetched conclusions. He's a little out there... I love ron paul though.

It's the personality cult and the suggestion that millions of academics are involved in the conspiracy (oh no.. i said that word!) that I object too.

Whether you agree with his conclusions or not it's hard to disagree with the notion that that we are not being told the truth...

Think I'll go have a read... sure they must've dug up some serious crap on Obama The Saviour by now.

i get a kid who comes into my vent frequently and talks about food shortages and internet censoring etc. it gets annoying.

he doesnt want to make any money because all money will soon be worthless, according to him. he also links me to blatantly biased articles as proof of his claims.

i wont call him a conspiracy theorist, because hed would like that too much. he is sure as fuck annoying.

I don't see how he's "out there" he backs his stuff up if you take the time to go out there Google what he's talking about you can usually find lot's of information that he is talking about. And they also have an active forum so you could just post a question there and I'm sure someone would throw you a non dickrolled link.

I have been listening to him for about a month, never said anything I couldn't find AP articles or whatnot on.

I have yet to see enough proof either way that points to a complete conspiracy .Even after watching some of his videos I not in complete agreement with it all.But it does seem like we need to weed out some of the more selfish politicians .

Back when I lived in Austin I lived down the street from him. I think most of what he says is retarded BUT he is making serious bank selling all that stuff.

In a way, the academics are involved in an intellectual conspiracy. Austrian economists are marginalized because they generally believe the government should do nothing in the face of economic crises. Keynesians think the government should spend money to create jobs and use the fed as a "steering wheel for the economy." Who do you think politicians choose for policy advice? Keynesians believe paying a man (with governemnt money) to dig a ditch and fill it in is better than for that man to be unemployed.

If you want to know what is going on in the economy, learn a bit about the austrian business cycle Austrian Business Cycle Theory: A Brief Explanation - Dan Mahoney - Mises Institute.

I think Alex Jones is went off the deep end quite some time ago. I prefer Lew Rockwell and The Austrian Economists (I was lucky enough to study under one of the professors who posts there).

I was actually thinking more about his suggestion that climate change is part of the conspiracy, but interesting info. I agree, the west has lived off borrowed money for way too long, time to deal with the result not keep borrowing more from our children and grandchildren.
