So I spend some time in a poorer country where my girlfriend is from. Jobs are hard to come by that pay decently here.
During my time here I have made some good friends and have what you would call relatives...but none of it is legal or formal yet...but they treat me like family which is cool.
One of these cousins like to fight chickens (no relation to the chicken F'ker) for fun and "dreaming" of actually making money from it. This "cousin" recently found a job doing construction and the pay is decent.
The plan was for 2 of my other cousins along with a freind of his/ours we will call "Che." They have been friends since they were young.
"Che" told "cousin" he isn't into fighting chickens anymore and wouldn't be going to the tournaments any longer.
With that being said "cousin" then told "Che" he would not be working with the crew any longer doing the construction work. "cousin" then proceeded to bring another jerk off freind I can't stand to work with him. I am not upset because I don't like his freind...I am upset because he f'ked over a good freind over something petty.
And that is how it has been.
I just came back here from visiting some family and heard about this and it pissed me off.
I try and help the family as much as possibly in many different ways...money, guidance, etc.
I really want to punish the 19 year old cousin and let him know what he did was not cool while at the same time teaching him a lesson that he can learn from and not be such a prick in the future.
I would appreciate any ideas you have on how to approach this situation.
