Live Hard. Sell Hard. Motherfuckers.

Some Ari Gold action for more than 24 minutes!!! LOL

Damn!! It's not on Demonoid yet!!!!

This is the first movie in about 2 years that I have actually looked forward to it's release!!

I never did sell cars, had too many friends in the biz so I knew better. Not that selling vacuum cleaners, insurance, and security systems door to door was all that easy or glamorous in my first 10 years of sales. Just that door to door meant "I" controlled how many prospects I got in front of.

I've always enjoyed selling.

Selling business to business was much better later on, and now "The Internet"!! What a great time to be alive!!!

I will thoroughly enjoy watching Jeremy Piven "Sling his Slang" and make teh monies!! LOL

Thanks for the thread to remind me that this movie is out now. (I actually forget exactly when it was coming out. Duh!!)

I love his business card.. "I move cars Motherfucker".

Lots of one liners in the movie... "I'm a Christian... "or whatever the dominant religion is of the region I'm selling in".

Us Marketers and Sales people get marketed to and sold on a FLUFF piece!! Lulz

Agreed.

Saw is last night and the entire movie was terrible.

Aside from a few funny lines/scenes it was a total waste.

Two thumbs down.

How DARE Hollywood use a flog tactic to get potential customers all exited about the benefits of their product (I.E. Laughter and Jeremy Piven) by putting ALL the best aspects of it up front in the AD to get everyone thinking, "Man, if the AD has all that laughter value in just 60 seconds, I GOT to PAY for 2 HOURS of that GREAT STUFF!!"

Then go and actually pay for the the product and it's all "OLD" re-hashed crap of little plot or laugh value!!

How DARE they!!!!!!! LOL

I think I'll wait for Demonoid on this one, then just save the few good clips.

Thanks for the review and saving me a trip to the theater.

After watching the longer trailer for it yesterday I kind had that "Gut" feeling that the movie was not going to be as good as the shorter ADs on TV indicated.

im a big Piven fan..sad to hear this movie blows. Ill stay off this one....
^^^^^^^DITTO!!

You know, I generally HATE remakes, but I REALLY think that someone should remake "Jerry McGuire" with Jeremy Piven as the star instead of Tom Cruise.

I think that plot and character would give him the RANGE to spot-light his Ari Gold character.
