Web lottery for Jackson memorial tickets - Michael Jackson- msnbc.com

There are a multitude of ways you can make some money out there during this. I know let's not make money of a dead guy.

If you can get a coder to code a program for multiple submissions for tickets and get say even 10 of them. I could easily sell them there for $5k a pop. Maybe more.

Do you know a local printer. Well then get to fucking work. Have him make T-shirts, Signs, Posters, anything.

Bored go out there with a fucking truck load of soda or water.

Go to you local best buy and buy every MJ CD you can find go sell them here.

Get some glow sticks or some shit and sell them at night.

Buy up hotel rooms now and then sell them to people.

I am sure you can come up with a multitude of things.

Here's one. Make a MJ memorial site. Print out flyers to it and optimize it for ringtones. Hell make a site that will work on the mobile phones so people can get his ringtones there on the spot.

Dont you guys think profiting from his actual funeral is a bit low? Arent there lines that shouldnt be crossed?

Not really. What's the difference between profiting when he was alive or when he is dead? It's all semantics really. Just because the guy isn't here anymore shouldn't matter. If I can get a couple of tickets and sell them to someone for a profit...I won't loose any sleep over it that's for sure.

Noob - Perhaps you should be listening more to Mike than attempting to demonstrate how much of a capitalist-rock-star you are. I would wager he's seen more green in the past week than you will in the next 365 days.....clean green too....

Even if you were going to do it, common sense would say don't say it out loud dumb ass....

Way to manage your social capital......

i can has morals plz.

ON a different note, radio is that your hussle auction2post? I would spend my moolah on that to make some real long term cash! This looks like the next best WF tool next to the ReviewPluginForWordpress!

I am all for capitalism but standing outside the mans funeral scalping tickets, or trying to get people to fill out an offer? To me thats a bit too far.

AMers are tuff. But not really. I mean, people were selling t-shirts outside the hospital while he was still in the hospital. It's not like there won't be other vendors selling other mj stuff. Also, it's not like they're going to be like "yo, man, you can have a free mj ticket if you signup for this free trial of acai berries, google money tree, and resveratol"

No incentives are allowed. You wanna get paid, doncha?

I agree, milking his death for profit smells of ambulance chasing, but would it still be unethical to hop on board if Copeac has a commemorative MJ coin offer, just $49.99 with two easy installments?

The scalping tickets thing. Is it really any different then the promoter of his london tour still letting people purchase the tickets as "memorbilla"?

or

the channel that is going to broadcast the show getting paid for the advertisements while airing it on tv?

or

The staples center selling shit inside like shirts, hats, signs and music ect?

I live far away from Cali so I won't be there. People are going to need shit though. Is it wrong to offer them water, hot dogs, burgers, soda and other things they will need. It would be wrong IMO on some fronts if you charge the amount for a hot dog they will be charging inside.

Because wealth is a sign of moral authority.
