LOL @ UBER

Objectively speaking. Uber done well by making quick bucks from newbies (with ethics out of the question). The price to pay is that his brand (himself) has been harmed. Since his blog is marketing effectively himself, this is a huge price to pay in the long run. Right now he is trying to milk what is worth from the zero value to high cost to subscribers offer.

Eventually, I mean pretty quickly the UBER camp will run out of steam, and so will his integrety completely fall apart in the online marketing community. From that moment on, there will be no money that could made by Uber with respects to any product/service that is associated with his brand.

My view is that he has made a stupid move in setting up the uber camp. Quick bucks with long term income damage.

maybe borque isn't his real name

Well, Paul would just set up another fake pen name, and another domain name, and be another "overnight guru".

Plus, he makes tons of money with PPC (right? ha ha) so fuck the guru business.

That's like saying Chris Lingle is going to bounce right back right? He could use whatever name he wants. People would sniff him out and definitely couldn't show his face at an event as most people know it.

But Paul isn't Chris in my eyes. As I see it there's two roads he can take at this point:

1. John Chow, Shoemoney and friends. Really caring little about credibility and just selling get rich quick to n00bs.

2. Go back to doing what he says he knows best. Making money as a PPC affiliate. Build tools, ideas and strategies some of which he can share and give back to the community. The reason he's well known isn't because "Paul is great" but rather how he helped other people when his blog first started.

Honestly the choice is his so it will be interesting to see what road he follows.

Just my opinion.

Smax - stop dropping bombs of logic on these nonsensical threads. Something positive just might happen.

Although I disagree with you on one point:

Honestly the choice is his so it will be interesting to see what road he follows.

Or... it won't be interesting at all.

Finally somebody with a little fucking sense.

You'll see what road I go down in probably 2-3 weeks, I've got a little something planned.

Give refunds to all the people who signed up and you'll have my respect back.
