London Anarchy

This is the type of person that's doing the rioting. Spoiled fucking children. One of the excuses I heard in an interview was "we're going after the businesses because they're rich!" - yes, the first gen immigrant running his store that you just trashed is 'rich', fuck you.

That bitch deserves to be to be shot, after someone stomps on her head.

Fucking hell Joe, that's a risky one to pull up.
Get some sleep Joe.

I used to work in the towers and lost more friends and acquaintances that day than I'll ever be able to tally.

I would normally be pissed, but some time has passed and I remember well what it's like to be stressed over events that were beyond my control.

The first thing that came up was pictures of after/during the attacks, I intentionally avoided them. I normally wouldn't, and I'm totally not saying that wasn't a huge tragedy. All I'm trying to say is, bringing problems about violent, non-representative muslims is stupid, especially when America has problems of its own in that aspect.

No disrespect intended, honestly, and I totally believe the people involved in that deserve everything coming to them and more, and totally feel for anyone that was affected by that. I was trying to make a point, and probably took it too far.

But she's in the UK so she'll get, what, 2 weeks in jail and have to stick her nose in the corner?

Far worse is the punishment she'll have carrying that memory around for the rest of her life... She'll surely lose every friend she had too... They'll all remember her as an admitted cop killer who went to the big house.

God damn how stupid do you have to be to post that shit on your facebook page?!?

I feel bad for Australia in all this. Obviously England will round up all the rioters and send them there. I mean it's not like they haven't sent criminals there before - it's an obvious answer to the problem.

I have to assume that you are American. If you are not, my apologies, but that statement is obviously written by someone that has little to no understanding of their own countries history if in fact, you are American.

was i the only one that got aroused?

They say Killers had more bigger brains than normal :)

I'd rather be killed by a firearm than stabbed 50 times or beaten with a bat to death.. so what's your point?

Killers gonna kill.

You're back-peddling because your homies think less of you for doing that, right?

Sup troll. Trying again, cause the last time you tried you failed?

I didn't have to try, you brought it on yourself. Seriously, you post an image of the NY twin towers where 3000 or some people died and try to claim, "you didn't mean it".. I suppose an image of gay-sex could've came up with the same keywords and you would have posted it?.. yeah right.. you're not stupid right? you know what you were trying to do.. don't be a pussy about it now that people called you out on it..

Police Were Ordered To Stand Down As London Burned

Precisely as we reported yesterday on the back of numerous eyewitness reports, it has now emerged that police were ordered to stand down and let London burn during the first few nights of rioting, an action that quickly led to a frightened public to demand troops on the streets, rubber bullets, water cannons and curfews.

On Tuesday we highlighted the “lackluster police response, with numerous reports from the public that police stood back and allowed looters to pillage both large department stores and private small businesses for hours on end.”

According to eyewitnesses to the initial riots in Tottenham, police were seen “standing back and allowing rioters to cause havoc,” a trend that continued during subsequent nights before Prime Minister David Cameron ordered 10,000 extra police officers to patrol London last night.

This has now been confirmed by sources within Scotland Yard who said police were ordered to “stand and observe” even as brazen acts of violent crime were committed against both people and private property, a directive which prevented them from arresting any of the troublemakers.

“They had apparently been told to try and contain any violence but not to haul away offenders who would instead be identified through video footage later,” reports the Daily Mail.

The decision to order police to stand down is being explained as a reaction to public outcry following the death of Ian Tomlinson, a newspaper seller who was killed by riot cops during the G20 summit in 2009.

However, as we have exhaustively documented, authorities routinely allow chaos to spiral out of control, even to the extent of hiring their own provocateurs, in order to manipulate the public into demanding greater police state measures that ultimately only serve to oppress legitimate dissent against the state.

The police’s inadequate response quickly led to calls for martial law, curfews and the use of water cannons on streets in England for the first time, a power that Prime Minister David Cameron has now authorized.

Britain’s most widely-read newspaper The Sun ran a poll today which found that two thirds of Brits support the use of rubber bullets to deal with rioters, while 33 per cent supported the use of live bullets.

“Curfews are backed by 82 per cent, using tear gas got 78 per cent support and Tasers 72 per cent,” states the report.

I'm talking about your lame trolling attempt on me the other day. Honestly, I don't talk to trolls. Have a nice day.

Despite being Britain's most widely read newspaper (probably because it's half the price of a decent newspaper) I wouldn't say it's representative.

It's almost as bad a rag as the mail:

I can't even remember, I have too much shit going on. Goes to show how pathetic your life is that you can remember 'troll conversations'. Funny, how you are more worried about being trolled than being a careless jackass and posting pictures of the NY twin towers.. yeah.. you're not a loser at all. What was I ever thinking??

I think all the people that are pro guns aren't getting through to the gun control crowd...

The point isn't "give the shop owners guns so they can mow down the looters" but that there wouldn't be looting in the first place if the shop owners had guns, so there wouldn't be a pile of bodies, maybe only a handful. Think outside the box and realize that not every solution involving a gun ends with a high body count.

Whether you agree or disagree is fine, think whatever you want, but don't think that all the pro gun people want a blood bath ffs.

@Nickster: you still never answered my question... if you're a shop owner, looters are breaking down your door, what do you do to defend yourself? I'm totally open to a non-gun solution that would satisfy me and make me change my opinion... I'm just waiting for one – just one – from the gun control crowd besides "I'll right down the looters names and hope they get justice in the courts." As far as I'm concerned, that's not an option in a riot/looting circumstance.

People here thinking that this rioting and looting is insane - its just exactly the same as what UK kids do on a day to day basis anyway, the only difference is that now they are all doing it simultaneously.

This is what happens when you have such strict gun control that not even police can have guns.

Actually they do. This whole debacle was "caused" because of the Police shooting dead a local scrote. Every Force in the UK as an ARU (Armed Response Unit). Also areas where large numbers of people gather (ie) airports, train stations etc are patrolled by armed Officers, however regular Police Officers do not carry a gun.

An interesting take on things, who is the chap in the video?

Anyone here live through the L.A. riots? I was going to USC at that time, very close to the action, campus even saw a couple of fire bomb attacks but the mobs were repelled by armed guards.

There was video of some crazy ass Korean shop owners in nearby Korea Town standing on the roofs of their shops shooting at looters. They kept most of their stuff out of the hands of the looters. The cops mostly stood back and watched, too scared to do anything.

Lots of guns in L.A., gangs and petty criminals all have them. When they aren't shooting at each other they choose easy targets, the people without guns. They would be like kids in a candy store in London.

We American's just like to keep up our gun skills for the next time we have to bail you Euros out of yet another world war. :D
Someone needs to know what they're doing, right?

Btw, I'm happy to say that I purchased my first shotgun (Mossberg 500) and fired it today. I've never fired a gun before today. It was fun as hell.

I suggest you Euros put down your wine and cheese for a few minutes and brush up on your skills as well. Germany's market has not been doing so well lately and I'm sure they're already infuriated about having to constantly prop up the Euro and bail out lazy debtor nations. Just sayin.

Haven´t read so much Bullshit in 123 words for a long time...
