It says that website began in 2002. It's much easier to track stories as they happen in the modern internet age, whereas their totals from the 1980s and such are going to be less complete.

I'm here "arguing" also, but this point has to do with why. More fear, more division = more wars, less rights, etc.
We have multiple people being murdered daily in chicago, its not international fucking news though.. so what, like 3 people got killed in the UK? big fucking deal.
You don't believe that if one of those "multiple people being murdered daily" was a serving US soldier, walking on a busy street in broad daylight to their barracks who is then run over with a car, hacked with meat cleavers, almost decapitated and dragged into the middle of the road and left to die, whilst all the time the attackers are screaming 'Allah Akbar" it wouldn't be World news?
Especially if the attackers went on to give impromptu interviews to passers by, stating that this action was due to US Foreign Policy in the ME?

In great part, you are right. But the heart of it lies in the vision of 'us versus them'.
Crips vs bloods. Whites vs blacks. X team supporters vs y team supporters. This religion vs that.
It is the view of others as the alien other that allows us to put aside what makes us human; empathy.
The elites rule by dividing and conquering. They rule because fools such as yourself view these divisions as very real.
Now, I will admit, it is a bad idea to allow uneducated people (regardless of race or religion) into a country which is bombing the people these uneducated people view as 'us'. But that is a very big difference from stating 'they are evil/lesser' because of religion or race. One is a rational view, the other is an emotive view fueled by propaganda.
I understand, I also made a post several months ago that said if minorities that dont have these problems all do similar things. They work their asses off. So while it is kind of an us vs. them thing, especially with inner city people and their problems, the solutions are within their grasp, they just choose not to put in the effort.
For some reason they do not think the squeeze is worth the juice, they just want people to give them free juice.
More than us vs. them, I think at the heart of it all is grouping (ie collectivism). Putting everybody into groups (by race, gender, sexuality, religion, favorite sports team, etc) dehumanizes people and de-legitimizes their views.
It makes it easier to hate a person when you group them because they cease being "Tom" at work or "Lisa" down the street, and instead becomes the democrat or the jew or the fag or the whatever.
It enables people to dismiss entire groups of "other" people without knowing anything about the individual person. White people did this, black people do that, muslims are this, and on and on. It makes it so blame can easily be assigned to a large group of people even if most members of that group are blameless.
Respect for the individual is the only moral position. Be wary of anyone that constantly seeks to group people, because that's only a step away from arm bands and gold stars. Someone famous said that I think, but that was about 7 imperial porters ago so it might not make as mush sense as it sounds like it does to me right now.
And the Crusades were about 1000 years ago pushing back aggressive Islam and Catholic priests I thought paedophile behaviour was accepted in some parts of the Muslim faith.
