I agree with Kingfish; It is saturated but if you do some cross-promoting you can still get the offers to convert pretty decently.

I know a couple of people that are getting thier ringtones offers coverting in a completely unrelated niche.

A example would be the Google pwner(s). They are using the same strategy but using related categories. Like "dating" will bring up a shit ton of ringtone aff links for a good portion of the day.

You could try to capitalize on current celeb news and relate it to ringtones in an obscure way.

Paris Hilton is on her phone 24/7 and there are enough talk about it; that you can place an ad "Get cool ringtones like Paris" Obviously I would try and think of lot better ad than that but should get your juices flowing. Watch some tv and get some celeb news and exploit it to the fullest. I am curious to know how well it would convert though. Maybe great ....possibly not at all.
