The Departed was a bad ass movie, by far the best movie of the year IMO.

Yeah, the departed was pretty badass.

Anyone else think Inside Man was surprisingly well done?

I thought it was pretty shit, The Departed was a good movie though, gangster movies are awesome
 
I don't like gangster movies...but Goodfellas is one my all time favorite movies.

Sleven was pretty good. I just don't think they needed to water down the ending.

Anyway, here's Vinnie Jones in his former life as a famous football player - he's really a badass in RL.

Vinnie Jones was a professional soccer player who currently holds the record for fastest yellow card (3 seconds). This incident took place in 1987. The unfortunate chap on the receiving end is Newcastle United's Paul Gascoigne. I don't think Vinnie ever expected to be caught on film for it but the shot has been immortalized by soccer fans. He's definitely soccer's ultimate mean machine (thanks to Teak).

i was actually kinda disappointed with mean machine. It was basically a british version of football factory except the prison was extremely minimum security. It was like a resort and the ppl in the prison were complete pansies. it made shawshank redemption look hardcore. Despite that I still stick by my guns in saying vinnie jones is a badass.

I still plan on watching the departed tonight.

You do that, mean machine was a good movie, at least it was better than the american's remake The Longest Yard :p

saw the departed. loved it!
i give it two thumbs up.

I don't know how titanic gave him such a longlasting bad rap, but i think leonardo decaprio(however its spelled) is an awesome actor. Same deal with mark walhburg. Which brings up another good movie, Four Brothers.

btw. One of my friends pointed this out to me. At the beginning credits of mean machine. it says "based on the film the longest yard." He was right.
