this exactly. there are legit reasons to not like Apple or OS X. Gaming is not one of them.
Personally, I use an Asus and a Blackberry. If iPhone had a tactile keyboard I probably would have switched a long time ago. I bought the Air when it first came out, but it needed too many attachments and the battery life sucked, so I returned it. The newer versions seem a lot better.

you're missing the point, the all-touch paradigm wasn't really considered too viable since everything previously was resistive touch, not capacitive like the iPhone and modern droid. The instant iOS was released, Android development pulled a 180 and moved away from the BB style, to the touch iOS style.
What don't you get both? PCs are best for IMs as most software in SEO is built to run on them. Macs are a beauty and built to help you design some cool stuff.
For phones, I prefer the old good Nokia or SE, prior to Android or iOS crap. I want a phone that makes and receives calls, period. Get a laptop, tablet, whatever for the other stuff.

Word. I've just downgraded from a BB to a Motorola Razr. I don't even text and I certainly don't want or need email on a phone. I also only check emails once a day now. Email is, like FB and Twitter, nothing more than a timesink.
