I dont give a shit what you say, Apple creates shit ahead of its time and literally creates markets (ipod, ipad) everyone just tries to chase them, there is no real competition to Apple

I use an android and mac cpus

lol wat

mp3 players were around wayyyyyyyy before the ipod - only difference was the size of the hdd

Ive had an iphone 3gs and currently use samsung s2. The s2 shits all over the iphone imo and the android os is so much more capable than iOS.

As for macs, they look nice and all but I dont want to pay for mediocre hardware when I can buy superior hardware for the pc for the same price. And thats not even mentioning the whole software compatibility issues clusterfuck.

Ok, so just bit the bullet and bought a MacBook Pro.

I am a PC only person and really don't like Apple (swapped my iphone for a galaxy) and despise iTunes BUT after going through so many PC laptops and countless amounts of hardware issues and breaking plastic bits I have decided to call it a day.

Well not totally.....

I am going to install Window 7 on my Macbook (its in the post as we speak) and then migrate all my software across from my old laptop (using Laplink PCmover Pro).

I am so pissed off that I have to shell out €3000 ($4000) on ANOTHER laptop, but hopefully this one will last a few more years than the others.

The specs are:-

Processor: Intel Core i7 - 2.8 GHz
RAM - 8 GB SDRAM (2 x 4GB)
HDD - 512 GB SSD

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

The whole Mac vs PC thing reminds me of the rednecks in high school that would argue about Ford vs Chevy

That being said, I figure if it runs and you can get work done with it, it probably doesn't matter what the badge says

So, got it day before yesterday. Took a day or so to migrate all my data and applications and get everything working.

So far it ROCKS! Sooooo fast and smooth. Even web browsing seems much faster (not sure why). So far highly recommended.
