Made my first sale yesterday



I remember my first conversion, still puts a smile on my face. But like guerilla said, that first sale is validation, and it is one hell of a motivator.

You'll reach a level where meeting your daily sales expectations is meh, but dipping below that fucks your day up
 
goal 1: 1st sale
goal 2: 1 sale per day
goal 3: 2 sales per day
goal 4: 5 sales per day

etc etc...

each time you reach a new level it gives you the confidence to shoot for the next.

aim high and be ambitious!

Agreed. And it feels fucking good reaching each goal.

Gotta agree with Felix Dennis, few things give you a bigger rush than when you start to see money rolling in, then grow and grow.

Definitely!

Just try not to look at your stats every 10 minutes. No need to be looking at that shit on an hourly basis, it just fucks with your work-flow.

That feel! Proving by your own experience that something actually does work. Validation as Guerilla put it correctly.

Also it's a signal to start optimizing and tweaking full-time. That sale is the permission to get to work and something that will keep you motivated later on when numbers go down.

Got rid of my iphone 3 days ago for this reason. I'm trying to not be connected all the time. I've realised I don't appreciate life & the moment any more, and I want to get that back. If I physically can't check my stats every minute I think I'll start observing the world again.
