Making the move to Google Chrome - what plugins / apps / extensions to get?

Use Chromium or Iron instead. Same browser, except there's no direct line to Google letting them know everything you're doing.

I used Iron for about 8 months and at some point there was a bug that would crash it out after waking up computer so had to ditch it. Switched to chrome and no more problems. The Google already knows most of the shit I am doing so I guess it doesn't matter

Just downloaded- looks good (was using Mozbar b4)

regularly use:
Roboform
SEO Serp
Pagerank Satus

Roboform was the only thing keeping me from making complete move from FF to Chrome. Now that they got that extension figured out, it's all Chrome for me.

I recently switched from Firefox to Chrome as well.

Turning point was when Firefox would crawl to a stop and I figured out it was using 2.5 GB of RAM. This problem is eliminated using Chrome as its very light weight with minimal footprint. However the problem I am having now is that even after I close some Chrome tabs they are still showing up in task manager as active processes and taking up precious RAM.

Also, only downside to Chrome is that it sucks for doing web design. Nothing beats Firefox plus Firebug for messing with CSS. Firebug/Developer tools for Chrome just aren't the same.
