Marketing partner wanted – site ready for launch

Hi,

New member here.

I'm looking for a business partner for my newest project and have exhausted my current network so am therefore searching on other webmaster forums.

As a new member I have read the rules and tried my best not to violate any rules of this forum. If I am doing so, please let me know and I will immediately correct any violation.


The site:
Custom developed site with a unique concept that has proven very successful in a pilot phase. Site is now ready for full launch.

Covers primarily automotive niche and secondarily motorbikes niche and can easily be extended into trucks, vans, quad bikes, boats etc
Site has minimal competition and a very profitable niche. Site is user content generated primarily.

Monetization via ads (adsense & ad sale), affiliate sales, email sales and subscription memberships.


You:
Looking for partner prior to launch who can promote the site and build traffic.

And can assist me with monetization by helping with ads sale, affiliate sales and email marketing.

You should have good knowledge on promoting websites and should be able to work independently.
Expect to work 30 – 60 minutes a day (according to the business plan)
Experience with Google Analytics, Google DFP and PHPlist is a preference but not a
requirement.

Interest in cars/motorbikes/etc is a preference but not a requirement.
UK location is a preference, but not a requirement.


Me:
I’m a successful web-entrepreneur, established 2 major sites and sold them, and want to now invest in this project which I believe has the highest potential. My goal is to build the site, monetize it and eventually sell it.
I have a business plan outlined which covers the next 9-12 months and a 2-3 year strategy. I can assist if you are less experienced in certain areas.


The offer:
I can offer a fair deal with fair split of income and optionally expenses.
The profit of an eventual sale will also be split.
No investment is required.

I need to you take care of promotion of the site (traffic, new members, etc). The promotion fundamentals is covered in the business plan.
I need you to assist me in monetization of the site.
I will take care of future development, availability, scalability and managing of the site.

I don't always JV with strangers but when I do I make sure that I put all of my trust into adsense, because we know they love their publishers so much

So I do all the work now and, once its making money, you'll take over? By that, you'll change the passwords and lock me out, right?

I wonder why your current network is exhausted...

- why would we send you traffic when we can send all the traffic to our sites and make profits for ourselves?

heres what i suggest you do
- get the site up
- search ways and sites that could bring you good traffic
- ask on newbie section "after searching"
- build your own traffic and take all the profit for yourself

WIN = WIN on both sides

what you need to be looking for is good paid traffic not Good FREE traffic and no one in their right mind would take that deal and hang in the edge of an axe
 
the site is a custom coded and a unique solution (for UK). It has taken me around 2 years to build it and will require future development as we hit the various milestones in the business plan.

I've built and sold high profile websites, all with partners and/or workers contributing with their specialist skills and experience. I don't consider this project to be a one-man-project. One-man projects are fine for certain type & size of projects, however I vision this project to be beyond this.

In this case i'm looking for a marketing partner. I've sold all my other projects and wish to invest fully into this. Combined we can cover the fundamentals, and the remaining work/labour can be hired.

For those who have issues with trust, I can assure you that the contract and the implementation of the partnership can be done in a manner where both parties are equally involved.

PS regarding the traffic, the pilot phase shows that traffic has semi-automatic growth. We need to get the snow ball rolling...
