This guy made a blog entry Deano’s World - Internet Marketing, Madrid, Life, SEO & More. » Blog Archive » Bizzare Google Request about a company sending him a letter/threating lawyer action if he did not remove his google entry on a search item relating to their business (blog entry had nothing to do with search item) as it was ranking higher than their entry. This was picked up by many other blogs/news etc and gained massive sympathy/wow how did you do that etc etc traffic/comments

Appearing on /. (Slashdot | Online Store to Sue Blogger Over Google Ranking? )the site did not survive the slashdotting but the people there picked up that the guy runs a SEO business as well and was talking about a viral marketing that he was about to test. Would like to say PWND but that guy easily received 100K traffic so, nice viral marketing.

So,
Make fake blog entry about being sued for having better SERP. Make it seem funny, add in lawyer threat so sympathy (and plain emotion) takes your side.

Have SEO business. Have over 100K visit - say 5 % buy your services cause they are like so "Wow, you do not even sell the product and ranked #1 in Google for it. How do I get that" type mentality
