All those posers that hold up pictures of their five and six figure cheques for the month... I just sit there and wonder what percentage of that was spent on the PPC that got them there. 90, 95 percent?
But the still have to have that 90, 95 percent to pay for the PPC in the first place - that must have come from somewhere

I'm beginning to wonder how much money people on this forum are actually making with this AM thing.

I'm beginning to think that unless you have a substantial amount to spend on a PPC campaign, your chances of actually making it maybe slim to none.

u should start blogging 4 monies liek john chow and shoe monies

I worked my first year in this business 14-18 hours a day 7 days a week. And I only made about 9-10k for the whole year. I was using bh seo tool like traffic equalizer and search engine cloaker. Everyone around me said it won't work you're just wasting your time and money. Well I'm sure glad I didn't listen.

Stop and think about this for a second. To make 1 million a year at a job is it possible? If it is possible what would you have to invest time and money wise to get there? There is only 2 jobs I can think of where this might be possible CEO of a major corp or a very very very good salesman. Both of which would take 10's of years to come anywhere close to that figure. As a CEO for a major corp you'd need bare minimum 4 years of undergrad and then an MBA, but most likely they'd want you to have even more education then that.

Then you have people that come in here and say "I'm not rich yet". Well how many hours have to put into studying and doing your homework? How much have you invested into your education in say losing money in PPC? My guess is anyone with a half of a brain that truely puts in the work like you would studying for college can be successful in this business. Honestly I talk to a lot of people in this business and most think 1k/day is just a benchmark for success. Almost like that's nothing amazing but rather the baseline. Man I've said it a 100 times and I'll say it again there is nothing like this business it's truely amazing.

If you invest the time and can't make money drop me a line and I'll help you. But you have to have put your time in testing, studying and learning. My guess is if you've done that then you won't need my help.

Unless you count the monstrous $4.xx I made this month on EPN, 100% of my traffic/revenue is from PPC.

On one hand, profit is profit. If I spend $100 on a campaign and earn $110, it's still profit and now I have data to build on.

On the other hand, with good guidance from my AM and a healthy dose of research/planning, I get 50% profits on whatever I stick into PPC. It's a good feeling to know that week after week I stick $600-1200 into PPC and profit $600-$2000.

Not saying it's the best, it's not for most folks, but for now, and for the few offers I'm running, it's more than paying for itself. I personally fit the 'lazy as fuck' crew. I'd rather get 50% profits the easy way than 500% profits the hard (organic) way.

A guy in MN who helped me out earlier on does a pretty damn good job of driving organic and I really respect his successes, but it didn't come overnight like PPC can.

I didn't know dick about AM when I started in March. I was referred to this site by my gf's brother and spent a lot of time reading, registering stupid domains, and learning. I also started writing content which has helped a lot to pay for domains, hosting, monsters, etc.

I agree very much with the common consensus of the guys here that are actually banking that the money you make is a direct result of the work you put into your business. My friends may not understand what I do, but they know I hang out in my underwear all day and still manage to get my bills paid. Once you make a little headway in this game you'll see the potential and it will only inspire you to work harder.

It's easy to let your doubts and general negativity get the best of you when you lose money. I've lost money on plenty of PPC campaigns, but I have one right now that's on average giving me a 90% ROI.

Seems like no matter how many times veterans here explain that you need to test, test, test, test some more, and FOLLOW THROUGH, there are still people that don't have the attention span that would rather bitch about their failures.

i recently quit my day job to concentrate on AM full time, i was eclipsing what i would be earning back at the office, so its definately not overrated IMO

I wish to buy your ebook but don't know how to order it .. can you tell me how? plz tell me asap thx

i spent 2 months doing nothing but research into ppc and marketing. and i mean study, 10-15 hours a day everyday while my mates were getting drunk at the beach. after that i wrote the software i needed and learned photoshop and dreamweaver for 1 month until i knew both of them inside out (i'm a coder not a designer).
i started with $25 adspend first night and made money
first month = $2400 sales. $1400 net
this month (so far) = $6,200 sales. $3600 net
next month? who knows? i'm aiming for $xx,xxx
total investment = $150 for domains, a couple landing pages i didn't use and hosting plus 5 full months of my life.

i'd say there was life in AM. BUT you have to work at it. that being said i think you either have it or you don't. i see too many chumps with there whiney i can't make shit attitude and i just think boy you're just never gonna get it.
This aint brain science and its also a damn sight nicer way to make money than working a 9-5.
