MediaTrust Firesale in Canada



All I know is that I lost my AM and never got a single reach out after that, and I used to do pretty good volume with them. I figured they just didn't have any new offers or were too stuck in the rebill space.

I assume they took big losses like all the other networks. Either way, good luck to them. Hopefully someone will eventually contact me to get business moving again.
 
From the brief convo we had it doesn't seem like Geoff wants to be an AM any longer so don't get your hopes up about him moving to another network. One of the best AMs around for sure, good luck Geoff!
 
heard that this was going to happen over a month ago, and not that surprised. I'm still wondering how many other places will consolidate or disappear this year post-rebill craze.

it's a bitch burning $200k/month on staff when you go from 3 people to a dozen in 18 months when revenue drops.

Final post from the MT helm

Yes it's true and whoever Karnul is, he got his info right! After 3 1/2 years at Advaliant/MediaTrust, my time has come to move on. Please go easy on Pete, he's had about 3 hours of sleep this week and its been pretty emotional for everyone both staying and leaving. I have to say, its been quite an experience working with you guys through the network and interacting with you at the shows, the parties, in the trenches and on here at WF. It seems I've made more friends then enemies (amazingly, the bribes seem to be still working!!), and I plan on staying in the industry, but don't expect to find me at another CPA network anytime soon (sorry barman and bb_wolfe).

Since it was asked earlier, know that Jordan Kravitz, out of the MT NYC office, will be the point of contact for most of you running campaigns @ MT. He's the first person I ever hired, so naturally there was only path to follow in my training of him: to be a superstar or GTFO. He has a lot to learn, but give him a chance - he's dedicated to making you the most amount of money possible in the least amount of time.

I plan on keeping in touch with many of you and all my IM's are the same. Thanks for the constant support WF, this really was a great validation for all those the endless days and nights we spent making it what we could in the limited time we had.
