Got it working... then stuck..

Right now, the presentation is very unprofessional..

"Login" - where to? With which credentials?

Manuals and good error messages would go a long way.

Handhold the user a bit.

It still says "login" whenever you click on somethign

abandoned 2 year old account with 5 posts links to an exe file

seems legit to me

Is this thread some kind of pre-emptive defense against probable cause?

I'm astounded that people would blindly trust .exe's on this forum...

If you're running this VM on your primary PC, I stand by what you quoted.

Well, I do know that there's stuff that can get out of VM's, but if OP could muster up anything as advanced, I'm sure he could think of a more clever way of delivery. But you're right, better safe than sorry :)

I downloaded the .rar, opened it immediately, ran setup.exe a couple times (tried it on all of my PCs to double check) but nothing seemed to happen... how do I proceed from here? Thanks in advance :)

Come on, don't be so hard on him. Now does this seem like someone who would infect you with a virus, or steal your lead info?

This is a .net program... most likely VB.net

The way it comes across is not very professional, so .. breaking out of a VM using the .net runtime.. good luck. It takes more programming chops to do that.

Anyhow..

Click on any "sub" program - it opens a window with a button "login", to then continue opening the part/sub program. - WTF?

This step is completely unnecessary, please do away with it.

The individual programs' interfaces are laid out very, very badly.

Please Google "visual hierarchy" "User interface guidelines" "usability", etc...

Here are some pointers

PS:
Had the program running over night (with all the protection, people)
It just crashed..

All in all:
NICE JOB! A++ Recommended! Would install and crash again!
