I guess I qualify from when I took the LSAT, but like someone said above... seems like a giant circle jerk.

I'm a member. It's not that big of a deal. your iq has to be in the top 2 percentile to qualify, which really just means that 1 in every 50 people have a high enough iq. there are probably more people on wickedfire who qualify for mensa than there are people who make money online.

the meetings are interesting though. it's a bunch of old people that I can talk to about quantum physics.

Theoretical physics are "fun" though lol

I was a bit of an arrogant little prick when I was a young teenager, so I decided to join mensa.

Went to one of their meetings and, wow, what a waste of time. Not a single person there was even slightly pleasant. Including me, I guess.

it means, that it depends how bad they need membership fees

if the top 2% qualify, then 2% will qualify
2% = 2/100
2/100 = 1/50
therefore, 2% does mean 1 in 50 will qualify.
