and my opinion the best C64 game was

Command and Conquer Red Alert 2...In 2003, I spent about 3 straight months in my room in Korea playing that game (off of Kazaa)
 
GTA all the way. Been playing since the original 1st PC version 10 years ago...

Every time a new one comes out, I sit and play until I beat it.
No joke.

San Andreas came out when I lived with my ex... I'd wake up, take her to school (few years ago, she was 17, I was 18), come home and play... Pick her up, grab more smokes and soda while out, go home and play. Put her to bed. Play. Sleep. Do it all over again. Did this for nearly 3 weeks.

GTA is so much better than a girlfriend.

Another vote for Counterstrike. I've been playing since 1999. I'm way too good at it and way to old to still be playing but I love it so.

Also, when I'm just looking for a short mental masturbation I play the flash game "Budapest Defenders". I've got it mastered but still load it up at least once a day to give the old brain a rest for 5 minutes.
