Most Anticipated MMORPG's for 2013 - What are you gonna play?

Cool to see some old UO players in here.

I'll be checking out the relaunch of final fantasy 14, looks to be shaping up as a much better game. I'm also a final fantasy nerd so i'd check it no matter what.

Found some old school UO comics, check em out.

B0N3D00D and pLaTeDeWd take the prize

I have a feeling that game will end up being addicting as hell like all their other games.

I remember when I used to play StarCraft 8 hours a day =/ Fucccccccccck battle.net. Shit is way too addicting.

Except D3 anyways....I only got my barb to para 89 before I realized it was shit lo0l

I still have painful nostalgia over Ultima Online. Fell off a ledge in 5 mins and quit EQ. Passed some pleasant time in Ashron's Call, laughted hilariously at ACII and pretended to enjoy WoW momentarily. Skyrim would have been so amazing if Oblivion didn't exist. Realy the only fun in video games for me these days is iRacing and a bit of Borderlands2.

It is painful. UO was such an amazing game. I can't think of any games that even come close. There were so many different things to do, combat or non combat related, full loot, housing, etc. I mean killing people with a tinker by trapping boxes and leaving them around the bank, death gating, great pvp, etc. dungeons, crafting, treasure hunting, etc, and being able to choose any of the skills but being limited to 700 points worked so well. Compared to other game's execution of similar idea's they just don't compare. And the amount of content/mechanics UO shipped with from day 1 was amazing. Shit I played on UOgamers off and on for a long time after quitting official uo.

Darkfall was a 3d full loot fps version of UO to a degree, and has the best pvp/gameplay I know of to this day, but it failed completely with everything non combat related, let players have every skill, had massive grind, and other than getting raped by people who ground their character more there wasn't a lot to do besides go harvest to re equip yourself and go get raped some more. I afk swam my character for 6 months (also learned autohotkey pretty well) before getting my stats maxed. Character stats and skills determined more than player skill, with 2 people shooting fireballs at each other, 1 would do 12 damage per while the other more ground character would do 44 damage with the same spell. UO was just executed so much better. But darkfall fps archery and fps magic was epic when it first came out and characters were more equal.

i like MMORPGS where you can ruin a persons day. In Asherons Call if you killed someone you had a chance to loot them and steal armor that people have worked months to craft and find. The rage /tells you would get made me laugh so hard.

miss that shit.
