Move over Acai there is a new gal in town

chia seeds definitely have potential, but there's better trending products out there.

We've been working on something for an extended period of time, and are looking to have the product ready and launched in the next month or so.

If anyone has any specific questions or wants more details feel free to PM me or email me, and I will give you as many details as I can.

It will be CPS primarily, to start, but could move to an additional CPA offer down the road.

I always put chia seeds in my oatmeal.

I don't see it working out as a rebill product though. You can already buy chia seed at just about any grocery store, especially the natural kinds like whole foods, trader joes, etc. It's nothing new.

Yeah, if they're in stores now, (I saw them in whole foods years ago in fact) then there's little point. Ppl have already tried them and won't fall for marketing about them.

pfft you guys don't know squat if you don't think a product can be made to exploit this.

Just like acai, someone can put some crushed up chia in a pill capsule and call it chia extract. Take one pill a day and get like 800x what you would get out of eating a bowl full of chia. I know people probably dont wanna eat chia seeds everyday. This would be an easier way to do it.

I don't agree. Not saying that chia seeds (or anything else for that matter) have the potential to be the next Acai, but with the right marketing spin people will buy whether they're sold in stores or not.

Look at Lipozene (a glorified fiber pill) - they're cleaning house with their infomercials.

In a way it certainly won't work the same way as Acai...if everyone's plan is to simply swap out the word acai on their farticles and fake news LP's and switch in the word Chia.

But as a viable, proven, medically endorsed product that is taken daily as a means to exceptional digestive health and an improved metabolism it will work wonderfully.

Chia seeds are amazing, and of course you can buy them in health food stores. Fact is the majority of the population that (the prime demographics that most affiliate marketers cater to) will buy these products do not go to health food stores, dont even eat oatmeal let alone sprinkle seeds onto their oatmeal, and dont feel they have the time or patience to measure out chia seeds and make sure they are getting enough within their daily routine.

If you provide people with an easy, simple, convenient, and proven means of getting the benefits of chia seeds into their daily routine...without them having to change any other part of their lifestyle or routine.....that is the type of product that will ALWAYS sell.

No matter how long the product has been available, where it is available, or what other means there are of benefiting from it.

There are hundreds of things available at health stores and Whole Foods that are incredibly healthy and beneficial......and many of them have been available for years but have just recently been launched as products online, offline, etc etc.

It's all about proper marketing, value, and turning something complex into something that can be deemed as "set it and forget it".

As proof of that, just look at how much people LOVE pills. Orange Juice is fantastic...provides all kinds of vitamin C in each glass. But people far prefer to pop a vitamin C pill each morning instead of pounding back a glass of OJ.

We as marketers should all know this already...and realize this is why acai products worked so well...and why new ideas and products will continue to take off and work wonders on the market.

Especially the ones that are proven, high quality, truly beneficial, and not centered around shady "tricks" where the customer is charged $189 after 3 days.

Give the consumers what they want, at a fair value, without hidden fees or charges, and in a simple, convenient form...and you have a recipe for success each and every time.

Cha-cha-cha-chia!

I thought chia seeds were used to grow chia pets...

Awesome food. Great to gobble down while working no the interwebs.

We had a client come to us about 3 years ago asking us about the next hot product. We had heard about some of the health benefits of chia, and had him make the product. Unfortunately it never took off.

The reason it failed was that mainstream media didn't talk about the product like they did acai. Before acai, we had green tea and hoodia, before that was coral calcium. All were huge categories because the media talked about how great they are.

Once they start talking about how Chia will help you lose weight, it will take off like crazy. Until then it will be pretty slow.

From a nutritional standpoint, chia is in a totally different category than hoodia, acai, green tea, etc.

That's why I don't see it taking off in the same way.
