MP3 Player Recommendation?

Try the Firefox plugin called SoundCloud downloader, by Technowise. I use it all the time for single tracks, DJ sets and that sort of thing. It'll do playlists as well, but I don't know if there's a cap on the number of songs or not.

thanks for that tip, I checked it out, looks like it allows you download playlists but not list of likes. would have been better adding tracks to playlists from the start but once I had several hundred liked tracks it was too late

Have you tried VLC?

VLC is not as convenient for music as lets say winamp. I currently use it for music and it is not convenient. Playlist feature sucks.

VLC is good. Besides MP3s, that thing will open any kind of audio/video file you give it without problems.

Also you can use the J and K hotkeys to quickly shift the audio forward/backward in videos by 0.05 second increments. It's something that's increased the quality of my video-watching life immensely.

Meh, I reckon it would take you 10-15 minutes to create a list from a couple hundred of your likes. Personally I just download the stuff I like as I listen to it.
