First off, everyone has the choice in their life to change something about them. I know plenty of people that started out as catholics that converted to some other religion. Just cause your born poor/muslim/stupid doesnt mean you cant change to something else.
Second, i never said muslims should be treated wrongly by everyone. I did say that i am glad Osama was killed and the others doing such things as him were killed and treated the way they were. I also said if someone approached me and told me they were muslim, I most likely wouldn't be able to control myself. I never advocated others do the same to muslims.
Also, controlling myself doesn't have to be in a anger filled rage. If I choose not to be around muslims, then thats just what I choose. I also choose not to be around gang members, child molesters, rapists, and people that I feel generally can not help me further myself in some way. Thats my choice and a choice i make for my family right now. Lots of people do the same thing, they surround themselves around people they feel comfortable with and those that can help further them in some way. Right now, I dont feel that way about muslims.. I just dont want to take the risk with my family. At least im not a closet hater like a lot of others.
Sorry if your muslim, but i know lots of people that wont mingle with others for different reasons and this is just one of those choices.
If your American Catholic ( or any non Muslim ) and you were in a room of 300 muslims during somethng like the Osama killing, would you feel comfortable with you and your kids there? If you answer yes, thats great for you man, I am just saying Id rather not take the risk right now. this event and lots of others like it (other people have been beheaded in south Thailand too) is part of a long political dispute that has as much to do with aggressive policing as it does with anyone's religion. Muslims in southern Thailand have wanted to be part of an autonymous state for several decades but the violence only started after the old PM (who's a white collar criminal currently living in exile) cranked up the heat and started calling the army in to fuck with them.
the funny thing is that when people react to shit like this by hating on all muslims, it just amplifies the problem. the reason there's so much muslim violence in southern Thailand is because the police use the exact same retarded "they're all terrorists" strategy that people who read that blog are calling for.
has anyone in this topic bitching about muslims in general actually visited a muslim majority country and realized how nice most of them are? it's like the world assuming all Americans are gun obsessed rednecks or LA airhead types -- yes, it accurately describes some of them but most people are just normal.

No. I think the Egypt freedom reporter case says a LOT. These were just randomly placed Muslims that happened to be in her vicinity - and boom there was a problem. This was not a gang, etc. This was simply people who were supposed to be out celebrating their new found freedom. Then, not only do these 200+ guys rape this chick with their hands but there's no fucking Muslim with balls enough to act like a civilized human and stop the fiasco. If that shit happened in the U.S. in a crowd like that there would be guys with an ounce of self-respect who would stick up for the woman.

I admit im upset for sure, but I dont feel its absurd.
I wouldn't let my kids hang around people I dont feel safe around or would be a bad influence to them and thats my choice to make as a parent.

I do feel that crowd pressure plays into this. You have to remember there were muslim women and military who finally were able to step in and stop this from being more tragic. When you have a mob of people, things get out of hand ( not justifying this at all though ). this is why i said in my earlier post the 300 muslims in a room with me.
I just know mobs are have different mentality and can change the thinking of otherwise normal people.
