My best friend was killed last night



I've had a dog as part of my family all my life. And have lost 2 of those pets due to old age.

Not the 'tied up to a chain outside' type of dog but an actual family member.


Dogs are the embodiments of traits that are valued and cherished in the hearts of men:

Unconditional love
Unconditional loyalty
Unconditional support
Unconditional friendship

These qualities come naturally and easily to dogs which is why they truly are man's best friend.

Sorry for your loss. RIP Brutus.
 
I'm so sorry man, dogs the most amazing thing on planet earth and Brutus was very lucky to have someone that loved him like you did.
 
My thoughts are with you, Mike.

As a fellow dog lover and owner of a beautiful 8 year old female rottweiler, I don't know what I would do if anything happened to my little baby girl. She sits by my side every day and night and would never let anything happen to me. Love that dog so much.

Dogs are amazing animals. Brutus was lucky to have you and it sounds like you both enriched each other's life. Thats what you should focus on. He was happy. :)
