Okay let's cut to the fucking chase.
For the past month 1/2 I've been busting my ass getting my branded "Magazine" style blog fully operational after reading:
http://www.wickedfire.com/enlightened-members/168063-flipping-website.html
http://www.wickedfire.com/enlightened-members/168970-ccarter-big-brand-checklist-how-i-represent.html
And a ton of other golden threads, but those were the main ones that I consistently followed and re-read a dozen times until I basically had them memorized.
I have a little PPC experience as well as blogging experience but nothing with crazy amounts of traffic that I intend with this project.
My skillsets include
When I'm not sleeping, I'm working on this project, working on coding courses/tutorials(Digging into php/java), or i'm doing my own personal shit IRL to make money to fund this. I have no job so I do what I have to in order to pay my server bill, and to eat. I've turned my phone off because all it was bringing me was a bill. I deactivated my personal social profiles(FB, instagram etc), I've realized I don't have time for that shit and it just wastes time. I have one opportunity in this lifetime to be successful.
This is what I've done so far.
Okay, now you know where I'm at.
I'm going to continue to keep this journal updated, not only to keep me going hard at it - but hopefully some of my mistakes I make will help someone else. Wickedfire has helped me beyond imagine, this is the least I can do. And I hope to contribute even more down the road once my knowledge gets broader.
I know this is going to be a long journey, and probably a hard one at that. I completely understand that I'm going to fuck up a lot most likely and i'm going to fail at some things but that is okay. As long as I learn from what I end up doing wrong then i'm more than happy with that, because that just means I'll be coming back even stronger with my next venture/project. I will only improve, it's when I stop improving and learning is when I will take a step back and re-evaluate things.
And to those newbies out there(Which I am one as well), anything you get yourself into is most likely going to get discouraging. I get discouraged all the time and even depressed.
But what I find myself doing to get my mind back on the motivated path is a few things, find those things that work for you!
"He who says he can and he who says he can't, are both usually right"
NOTE:Sorry for the super long post, I really didn't intend on writing all this. So for those of you who read, I shall at least make it worthwhile. I'll try to keep them in the little attachment thing for those of you who browse WF at work or around family.
But i'm posting boobies and asses with every update I make. Well, because I love boobies and asses.

I have a little PPC experience as well as blogging experience but nothing with crazy amounts of traffic that I intend with this project.
My skillsets include
- Pretty Good Designer
- Quality Copywriting
- HTML/CSS Language
- Basic Knowledge of SEO
- And last but not least, persistence.

This is what I've done so far.
- The niche I chose was alcohol, pretty similar to tavins. But only because I have broad knowledge in this niche as well as I want to learn more about it. (I went through bartending school about two years ago and really enjoyed it even though I probably never plan on becoming a bartender)
--- - After pretty much completing my idea of what I wanted to do I went and looked at all the competitors I was going to be going up against and I know for a fact I can out-do them. So this is it, i'm in 100%.
--- - Hostgator Shared Hosting. I'll get VPS when I need it.
--- - Found myself a clean brandable EMD, no history, never been registered. Clean slate.
--- - I saved up and bought a really nice Responsive Premium Wordpress Theme(Mobile friendly, although it still needs to be tweaked a lot from my standpoint) from themeforest that has a really nice layout. I customized it to my likings with the help of hyper6, which did an awesome job btw!
--- - I made me a really professional looking Logo, Banner, Header, Favicon etc.
--- - Set up my twitter, facebook, google+, and linkedin profiles to the looks of a real professional looking upcoming brand(Because that's what I "will" be). I do plan on expanding to other social media platforms but I just wanted to start with these first until everything is really going. I plan to control them with hootsuite, schedule posts, and personally interact with each one connecting with other relevant brands. Especially on twitter, for some reason I see a lot of potential on twitter as far as getting other brands to share my articles/links when the time comes.
--- - I've been doing heavy research on keywords for article topics and have a pretty big list. I mainly used Google keyword planner and also did a lot of my own research finding out what people like the most, oppose to what google see's them liking the most.
--- - Installed my google analytics.
--- - Worked on pagespeed, this one was tricky for me. I'm not sure if it's the theme or what but i've been fiddling with it for the past couple days really trying to get it debugged but it's just one thing after another. I set up my website with cloudflare(Which helped a lot), tried a few different cache plugins while messing with their options, compressed a lot of files/images but the best I could come up with from pingdom was "91/100, faster than 60% of tested websites" which is going to be unacceptable for me after reading CCarter's thread http://www.wickedfire.com/traffic-content/166122-240-increase-search-traffic-3-days-mito-tags-speed.html
--- - So now that all that is pretty much done, I currently have 13 really nice articles that i've written and finished. All ranging from 500 words to 1500 words with no keywords besides the h1 header. I plan to have smaller articles and even bigger ones as well. Not following that dumb 500 word article rule I see most going by, I've read really good 100 word articles and really good 3000 word articles. If it's good, it's good, period.

- I watch a lot of motivational videos(There is a thread somewhere here with a bunch of them! Go watch them!) Every time I get tired, depressed, unmotivated etc, I seriously watch a couple from youtube and go right back at it.
--- - Think of a lifestyle you want, a house you want, maybe a car. Anytime you get discouraged, remind yourself what kind of lifestyle you want to live. Remind yourself where you want to be and what you want to have! You can have anything you want! Sometimes you have to walk through the rain to get to the rainbow.
--- - For me, the biggest motivation was when I found myself waking up and my first thoughts were wondering how I was going to eat today.
