I just did that Friday at work... This jewish guy came over for a poltitcally correct rant ..
he goes:"Ooh, lets be smoochies, cause you're German, but I don't hold that against anyone, you know, it's so long ago.." etc, blabla...
I say "Damn right. I wasn't there, it's 60 years ago, let it rest. I am not like my grandpa. In fact, I am kinda left wing."
he goes: "Yeah, you know, not all Germans did those things."
me: "No, my grandpa did. In fact, he was SS, but as you said, forgiveness is key."
Discussion kinda went awkward after that. I guess he could not cope as well as he thought. :error::error::error:
