Ok, as autumn progressed I started staying awake later and later. Eventually I was waking up at 3 in the afternoon and going to bed at 6 or 7. Problem, this meant I'm awake for about 3 1/2 hours of daylight. Last Sunday I tried to switch my sleeping schedule around, well its been a complete disaster.

The last time I slept for longer than a short 15-20 minute doze was 3am Thursay morning to 6am. I stayed awake until 5:30pm, fell asleep for a little bit and woke up. Then a few hours ago at 3am I tried going to sleeping, didn't happen. I've been up working non stop since.

Funny thing, I can't remember sleeping more than 6 hours at once since Saturday! Any one else here wierd like this?

Oddly I never was like this; I always sleep in unless I need to catch a flight. Never could take a nap either -- unless I was sick. I think today I will just drink a lot of mountain dew and redbull until 6pm.

I think we all here have bloodshot eyes.

I was actually just like that this week. I got it back on track but I really fucked it up for a few days.

One day I pulled an all nighter and didnt go to bed until like 1 pm which fucked me over, I woke up three hours later at 4 pm. Then I was just like eh, I'll fall asleep around 11 and have normal sleeping schedule. That shit didn't work. I think when you do that, and try to go to sleep again at an abnormal time, your body views it as a nap and wakes you up in two hours. I have no clue though.

Yesterday I just stayed up as late as I could, it was like a 24 hour stretch, and fell asleep at 11 pm and got nine hours of sleep, so it's back on track. You might want to try that, but it's fucking brutal.

Yeah, except this 24 hour stretch is going to be more like 48. I have not slept more than 1 hour in the past 24 already.

No bloodshot eyes here.. if I play games, pft, my eyes are bloodshot in 2.

The fucked up thing about this is I don't feel all *that* tired. I haven't had any caffeine, probably in 2 weeks.

Man I am real tempted to just go lay down and fall asleep right now.. screw having a regular schedule.

The other thing.. I just got a ton of work done, pretty much not stop since 3 except for stretch breaks. I've never before been able to get much of anything done when I'm tired. I'm beginning to think my bed has become the magical throne of your-not-tired-anymore. Now that I think about it, may be sleeping in my shirt and jeans the past week wasn't such a good idea.

Honestly for anyone with sleeping problems because your used to going to sleep at 4-7am, needs to blaze.. You might think that's dumb, but for anyone that smokes weed on occasion will understand what i mean.
Smoke a small spliff around 1am... youll be so so burnt out by 2:30am you'll fall right asleep. Then you'll be able to wakeup nice and early the next morning, and get right to work on your websites.

alextis, just what we need a pot head at the wf forum to complete the insanity!
As for sleep, how does anyone sleep more than 4 hours a day in the first place? I have so much shit going on I don't have time to sleep or complain about not getting enough. That is the key I guess, don't have time to complain about not having time to be lazy!

I am much better when I am on a normal schedule. I had an 18 month period a few years back where I managed to wrap my schedule around like that too and was basically not going to sleep until 6:00am every day. Real did not leave me at my best, but it is hard to break the cycle.

I can't really sleep well when there is light outside, so unelss I make my room a fortress of blackness I have to sleep at night.

Yeah that's all good but there'll come a time when u can't get stoned before you sleep...so it's not really a good idea to use weed for sleeping because once you get used to sleeping with it, it's hard to sleep without it

Sweet, I just slept 9 hours solid. Laid down on the sofa to rest my hands after about 6 1/2 hours of non stop work, immediately fell asleep.
