My Wordpress blog hacked for the second time

What version of WP do you have installed? If you have anything prior to 2.8.4, you're vulnerable. It has nothing to do with malware on your computer or your hosting.

Might want to fix your forms dude, I keep trying to enter my credit card number to check the interwebz for fraud but it wont accept it. Maybe you can run it for me?

I guess I'm not, now I got one of my pages (not posts) acting up, Im starting to get frustrated a lot by this
 
I decided to clean install it. Just in case, I backed up the entire site and then separately backed up database, comments and posts.

Then I deleted EVERYTHING WP-related from my FTP. Basically, only images were on server.

I installed the fresh Wordpress (over same DB), and everything is fine BUT

The same error occurs when I make a certain page - it directs me to /index of page, it just shows 2 link on that page and Index Of...

If I make a whole new page with the same content - it displays fine. Could it be that iframe was messing with my DB?
 
maybe the internet isn't really your thing

anyway - you need to start with a fresh database

if that doesn't do it:
move to a new host
boot your computer in safe mode and run antivirus, adaware, etc.
install a local firewall
change all your passwords especially ftp
learn about linux security, file permissions, etc.
use a different ftp client
fresh install the latest word press, new database, and keep it updated
change passwords some more
 
maybe it isn't, but then again, i never said it was my thing, soo...


anyway, if i make a new db will i be able to put the old comments and posts in it?
