Myspace Ads

I've noticed that by default the "Start Date" is set to tomorrow. Perhaps they don't plan on SENDING traffic till tomorrow?
 


This is probably going to go unanswered if things are working: But how is MySpace converting on offers relative to Facebook? I'm tempted to jump in and try it out myself now.
 
Still on pending as well. After seeing the potential reach and my relatively low test budget for a handful of campaigns I made the mistake of putting the end date for the default 1-day campaign. I've been "pending" for so long that I don't dare want to pause it to change the date lest I go back to the beginning of the queue. With my luck they'll be approved a couple hours after the campaign expires. Not a smooth launch, IMO.
 
1217 impressions, 1 lousy click

I got a burst of about a 1000 impressions after one of my ads was approved, but then the impressions dropped off to zero as soon as I got a click. Not sure what's going on. Hopefully, it's just their reporting not being real-time.

My other ad is still pending.
 
Just launched my campaign, waiting approval. Testing it with a $40 budget (.33 cent clicks) to see how it converts. Are you guys direct linking or using landing pages?
 
Just got this email from them:

We are aware there are compatibility issues when using a Mac to build an ad. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide full support for Mac users at this time. Please consider upgrading to Firefox 3 and attempting to build your ad again. Thank you for your patience, we are working hard to fix the problem and appreciate your patience while we do so.

Please note: Ads are reviewed in the order in which they are received. We appreciate your patience during the review process. During the beta test of this advertising platform we will have MySpace SSAP agents approving ads Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Pacific Standard/Daylight Time).

Are you fucking kidding me? Myspace can't manange to make a ad platform that works on mac? btw I AM on FF3 and it doesn't work.

Same here. Got my ad approved in about an hour, received 180+ views with one click...and now my views dropped to zero. This looks like it's gonna be another headache.

Thats retarded. i heard you could set up windows on a macbook pretty easily. I might try to do that on mine

That's weird. I'm on an intel iMac, running 10.5.4, and on FF3 and it's been working fine for me
