I'll chip in - I'm in the UK and my cards are being billed in US$ - I had a similar shock to yours when I noticed it the first time. Certain parts of the platform displaying currency symbols seem geo-targeted. All the bids and budgets displayed on ad pages are also given GB£ signs, which was a bit alarming at first, but then when you edit them all are given US$ signs. The £1 billed normally occurs when you are billed an odd .xx cents test amount, as the bank will round up for such a small amount in my experience.

There are other wrinkles - for instance when I make a campaign, the start date is governed by GMT - at 0001+ I can no longer submit an ad to start on the day it still is in the US.
The whole thing is a bit kludgey, but then it does have a big 'beta' sign on it ;)

and re the campaign start dates try working GMT+7

Can't get the code to work. Keep getting Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DNUMBER in

Any advise?
 
my waits for approvals have been no more then 30 minutes to an hour, today included.

maybe they prioritize by account spend? just a suggestion.
 
Yeah they have. Try to promote diet stuff with before and after pics in your ad or landing page will = denied.

Also it seems like if you have tons of campaigns paused due to testing and try to submit new ones, your new ones won't seem to get approved.
 
My diet ads were going down faster than my best friend's sister on a prom night.

Learn my lesson and it's time to cloak.
 
I just had an ad rejected too: "...has been rejected for the following reason: Other - Inappropriate ad text (language may be considered inappropriate and/or offensive)."

And no - I did of course not use any foul language or anything even a nun would find offensive. Wtf?
 
Rejections happen especially with dating ads, it's better to have the girls all covered up. All you need is a good looking girls face on the banner ad, even if the body is covered all up those horny guys will still click.
 
I had a campaign approved 1 1/2 weeks ago, got roughly 15K ad views at the minimum bid of $.25
Then impressions just stopped. so I upped my min bid to $.35, and still no impressions, then bumped it to $.50 and still no impressions. then bumped it to their maximum suggested $.72 bid per click and STILL no impressions. They just don't want my fucking money.
Tried changing my targeting, still nothing.

and of course, they won't let you change your url, so I can't even change the offer to something else.

Did they put George Bush in charge of Myspace Advertising? It's the only possible reason I can think of as to why this network is failing so miserably.
